Following is a true story from 2020 during the black lives matter/antifa rioting. There was a big push by people on social media towards businesses at the time — and businesses towards each other — to publicly virtue signal about not being racists. I remember seeing big name corporate brands get hounded about this, as well as some popular online marketers, too. Just ankle-biting and nagging at people to put on masks on it gave these self loathing virtue signalers' lives purpose. Perhaps it even gave them a sense of power for the first time in their lives. Almost like a broken, defeated man whose wife finally lets him have the remote control. Whatever the case: It app-so-lootly astounded me that nobody used all that nonsense to make more sales with. It was like being handed a silver platter full of new potential business. I remember wishing just ONE of these dumb ass virtue signalers in my niche would try that nonsense on me. But alas, nobody did. Too bad for me. Closest I got to that was this ditty below while promoting Copy Troll at the time: (how could I not promote that particular book at that exact time when the iron was hot?) === I was thinking. "Ok. "Maybe this is all this crap about trolls was just pre loaded in a sequence. " "Because this guy CANT be saying this shit with the current tension in the nation. " But now, troll or no troll...Im starting to think maybe some the shit said about you was correct. Fuck you and your capitalizing off of people calling you on your shit. Purely deplorable...as the guy you oh so look up to would say. === Not much to work with. But more than enough to help sell Copy Troll today. So I might as well take the opportunity to remind you about the discount on it so you too can start profiting from any basement dwelling trolls, haters, & fake reviewers who vex your business now or in the future. Get it at this link before tomorrow, Sunday 3/17 at midnight EDT: [https∶//www.EmailPlayers.com/troll]( Use coupon code: PRONOUNS to get the discount. And make sure you see the price change before entering any credit card info. Ben Settle This email was sent by Ben Settle as owner of Settle, LLC. Copyright © 2024 Settle, LLC. All Rights Reserved.
