Over the past few years a growing gaggle of people have been telling me about their fears of so-called “list burnout.” I don’t know if this is a fear a bunch of goo-roos are trying to instill in people to get them to buy their newest social media product. Or if it’s just a temporary trend (email is very trendy as a marketing tool, email “experts” come and go almost as often as crypto currency experts do). Or if people who worry about it simply don’t know what they’re doing. So to grant sweet, blessed relief about this: I will now tell you about 2 ways to avoid list burn out. Both ways work exceptionally well. But, only one way is profitable. Here are the two ways: 1. Never mail your list at all This also will make absolutely sure nobody ever opts-out or complains, or buys anything from you, either. Good news for people more worried about opt-outs than sales, I suppose. 2. Write your emails as explained on pages 37-39 in my "Affiliate Launch Copynomicon" book This method is not something I invented, by the way. It was used (in other media) by guys like David Ogilvy half a century ago. And, it was also used by the late, great marketer Jim Straw, too, to help him sell a 160 page eBook that costed a whopping $995. Yes, for a mere PDF. Anyway, my book (not a PDF) is on sale until tonight (2/18) at midnight EST. If you buy before then you can have it at a thick discount. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
