One of my all-time favorite advertising books is: “The King of Madison Avenue” It’s a biography about the late ad man David Ogilvy. And one of the reasons I like it so much is, it talks about a clever copywriting method he invented that can get even people who often ignore you to enthusiastically open, read, and click your emails. It’s not the sexiest thing you’ll ever hear. Which is probably why you won’t hear it on stage from some tier 2 goo-roo at an internet marketing seminar. Yet, it can potentially make your product launches and affiliate campaigns far more profitable, while also dramatically cutting down your opt-outs, too. Full disclosure: Mr. Ogilvy didn’t create this technique for email, obviously. But, I found it works even better for email when done correctly, because it makes it so your emails don’t look or feel like (1) just blatant sales pitches and (2) everyone else’s launch offers, where they lob out these short little emails with “last chance!” or whatever. And guess what? I talk about this on page 38 in my Affiliate Launch Copynomicon book and show you all kinds of examples of it in the 600+ page swipe file section. The book is on sale at a big discount until midnight EST tonight, Sunday 2/18. So time is getting short to get this. If you think you want it, then best show this link the meaning of haste: [https∶//www.EmailPlayers.com/copynomicon]( Use coupon code SPANK (Make sure you see the price change before entering your info) Ben Settle P.S. WARNING the following is extremely graphic & disturbing. If you’re a guy it will likely make you especially squirm. Still reading? Glutton for punishment, are we? Okay then here goes: One of the testimonials for using what I teach inside the book Shane Hunter (he hadn’t even read the book, just some stuff I taught in Email Players about it) “Hell, I used what I'd learned to earn thousands while IN my hospital bed - catheter still agitating the raw inside of my inflamed dickhole, front of mind pain raging at a "knock me unconscious multiple times a day" 10/10 level, all with a fresh, weeping & bleeding hole where a disc in my spine used to be... Before I'd relearn to walk, I was on my laptop, earning money.” This email was sent by Ben Settle as owner of Settle, LLC. Copyright © 2024 Settle, LLC. All Rights Reserved. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
