“You know, Trump had a point about women…” I said to the left-wing Bernie voter I too

“You know, Trump had a point about women…” I said to the left-wing Bernie voter I took out to the bar two weeks before Trump was elected. What happened was this: I took her to a local bar full of caddies. The town I lived in at the time has two top 10 golf courses, lots of caddies — and to paraphrase Charles Bukowski... they all hang at this one bar like flies on the same turd. Anyway, we saw a caddie one of her friends used to date. And, two chicks sat next to him at the bar, with him in the middle. I said, “do you think he’ll get either of them?” She said, “no, all these caddies are boring.” We watched a while, and she wasn't kidding — you could smell the boredom. And so I said: “You know what he needs to do to get the one next to him interested in him, and ignoring all the other guys here hitting on her?” “What?” “He needs to find something to disagree with her about.” “Like what?” “Saying, ‘You know, Trump had a point about women…’ would thaw her out.” And, being a Trump-hater, she reluctantly had to admit it was true (it worked when I used the same shtick on her, after all...) But not just on her. Stefania would tell you the same thing. Especially since, a big reason why she fell for me is precisely because I would say things she completely disagreed with, and then the banter would begin. And lest you think I exaggerate, she has said many times since, if you’d asked her 7 years ago if she would ever have dated, much less fallen for, a guy like Yours Unruly, she'd have said you were nuts. Especially since I did not check off a single blessed one of the “must haves” on her checklist of political views in a man… Like I told her early on: “Don’t worry about elections, I’ll tell you who to vote for.” Anyway, there’s a valuable persuasion lesson here: Boredom = death of persuasion. Which is why, whether in an email or when on a date… you are better off risking being offensive to someone than being boring to everyone. More: I've decided to swap out the upcoming simp-bait Valentine’s Day Hallmark holiday with a better one I invented out of thin air a few years ago. And I am having a celebration sale over the next few days for said better holiday for something that can dramatically help men do better both with attracting and keeping a high-quality woman and also with attracting and keeping high-quality clients & customers.
