Email Players subscriber Aleks Salkin gives it straight: === Hey Ben, Just saw this video from a strength coach I follow explaining that his Instagram account got hacked. I immediately thought of all that I’ve learned from you over the years and how it would’ve helped this guy immensely if he had too, as the gist of the video is that: * he sells his ebooks primarily through his website, and Instagram is the main vehicle he uses to promote them (not an email list filled with people he’s created a relationship with and mails daily) * sales of his ebooks are his primary source of income (“one is the most dangerous number in business”) * he’s banking on Zuck’s henchman giving him back access to his account (demonstrating that he doesn’t really own the business, Zuck does) whee he’ll presumably make the same mistake again even if he’s lucky enough to get his account back. To make matters worse, his wife is about to give birth in a few days and he is (understandably) stressed about the prospects of suddenly having no income. Meanwhile, my own Facebook and Instagram got hacked last year and not only did it not make one iota of impact on my email-driven business, but I actually SAVED money as it forced me to stop running Facebook ads and I vowed I would never give that reptile Zuck a single shiny cent of my cashola again. Moral of the story: I’m writing your name in for President and I hope your first Executive Order will be to make business owners stop relying on social media or face a televised public caning. === I appreciate the vote. But, I am not sure I want to take the pay cut.. Whatever the case: The November Email Players issue won’t do a dayem thing to keep the pronoun loving, social activism-obsessed blue-haired monsters who run social media from “Thanos’ing” your account on a dime for wrong think or even no reason at all. But, it can help you be larger than life. Have a brand people can’t help but want to engage with. And, yes, I believe serve your customers & clients in a way your hapless competition hiding under their beds chasing every new nonsensical social goo-roo hoping for scraps can’t even begin to imagine. I’m talking about your business being able to tap into a “force” (I do not know a better way to describe it) of influence & persuasion I have never seen anyone teach up in this business, much less in any kind of depth, in over 20-years in the game. Something I’ve been using for a long time. But, even I didn’t think to teach it until a year ago. And since then I’ve been prepping the November issue. An issue that goes to the printer tonight. After that? It’ll be too late to subscribe in time to get your claws on it. If you want it, best hurry: [https∶//www.EmailPlayers.com]( Ben Settle This email was sent by Ben Settle as owner of Settle, LLC. Copyright © 2023 Settle, LLC. All Rights Reserved. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
