If you can find it, I highly suggest listening to the very first interview in the: “The Scuttle

If you can find it, I highly suggest listening to the very first interview in the: “The Scuttlebutt Tapes” They are a series of interviews John Carlton did with his marketing pals some 20 years ago (back when everything was audio tape…) And the first interview with the late, great Gary Halbert is, in my humble but accurate opinion, the best of the bunch. And there are many reasons why this is the case. One of them is the bit where Gary goes on about The Godfather. He says the movie doesn’t quite do it justice like Mario Puzo’s book. Especially the infamous scene where one of the world’s most powerful movie men, with all the armed guards and protection the money could buy, wakes up to his prize horse’s head in bed with him after refusing the Godfather’s request to help his friend get back in the movie business. Specifically when Gary describes the book saying it like this: (paraphrased) “This guy did not make a stupid decision. He just underestimated who he was dealing with. The movie producer knew the President. He knew J Edgar Hoover. He knew almost all the rich people in the world and thought he was untouchable. And it was inconceivable that some unknown Italian immigrant, without any warning whatsoever, without any attempt to negotiate, would do something so unthinkable and destroy the most prized possession in his life to get what he wanted to accomplish.” And then he goes into what made The Godfather “THE GODFATHER.” I bring this up because of one important reason: The Godfather absolutely utilized the “force” of influence & persuasion I write about inside the November Email Players issue. The issue does not mention the Godfather. But he did utilize the secret I write about inside to make himself larger than life, more powerful & influential than his enemies, and become something that is almost beyond mere “human” in a lot of ways. I’m not saying the November issue will turn you into The Godfather. But, it does show you how to utilize the same forces he did. Except, instead of ganking horses, you can apply it peacefully to your marketing. Very powerful stuff. And, only Email Players subscribers will possess it. I am very much looking forward to seeing how my best Email Players of the Horde use what I teach inside. And it is my hope that my boys & ghouls use the concept and approach (it's not a checklist of stuff to do, let the goo-roo fanboy reading this take note) to create a whole new level of dominance over their niches and industries over time, as they use it, benefit from it, profit from it, and, yes, conquer from it. Only time will tell. But the first step is to be subscribed in time for the November issue.
