One of the first things I noticed when I altered my business model to what is now the elBenbo Press

One of the first things I noticed when I altered my business model to what is now the elBenbo Press model I’ve been nattering on about these last obnoxious 12 or so emails, is just how easily I was burgling my competition’s sales. Not consciously or in any kind of illegal way. But, the nature of what I started to do (via the structure of my business model) meant people were buying my offers before everyone else’s. And, this is especially true around holidays. Take the last few Thanksgivings, for example. A lot of businesses in my industry did Black Friday sales. At the same time, many others jumped on a trend where they went out of their way to virtue signal to their lists about how they were NOT doing a Black Friday sale. Like it was some kind of badge of honor or something not to do business… and they are somehow above all that blatant selling. In both cases I found it all quite amusing. Why? Because, this whole time I had structured my monthly offers in a very specific way (based on how, believe it or not, the highest rated soap operas are plotted to keep people engaged forever) where I believe it made it much harder for my buyers to spend money with anyone else, even if they wanted to — allowing me to “circumvent” other marketers’ sales. This is something I teach on page 310 in my “elBenbo Press” book. The book is my entire high-priced book & newsletter publishing model on a plate. Every publishing strategy, logistic, strategy, and tactic. All laid out in “plain English” in one giant book. However, realize this book is very much a “Ben Settle 400-level” training. For better or worse, that means it is not at-all newbie-friendly. And while I’m not saying you have to have all my other books or be an Email Players subscriber to use it… I will say the longer you’ve been reading my emails, the more of my books you’ve read, and the more of “me” you are familiar with, the more suited you are for this information. It’s also one of my most expensive books yet, too. But, during the sale this weekend I am offering it at a thick $200.00 discount off the price listed on the sales page until tonight, Sunday 9/17 at midnight EST. Here is the link: [https∶//www.EmailPlayers.com/press]( Use code SIZZLE at the checkout. And make sure you see the price change before entering any info. Ben Settle P.S. Whenever I promote elBenbo Press someone will invariable ask if the info can be applied to a digital publishing business (membership sites, mobile app hosted content, etc) and not just print books and newsletters like I do. And the answer is it’s about my print model. But, that doesn’t mean smart boys & ghouls can’t adapt it. For example, Yesterday I got this testimonial about elBenbo Press from Daniel Throssell. It is NOT the norm for my customers. And even he admits it sounds almost too good to be true even after toning it down. So don't think this will be your business' experience. It probably won't be. But, it does show what is possible for the right kind of business, at the right time, with the right list, and right kind of experience, skill, connections, yada yada yada. Here goes: === As I write this it’s almost exactly one year since I launched my own newsletter (Adventures in Copyland). In fact yesterday I just published the one-year anniversary edition. Spoiler alert: It’s been an enormous success. I’ve grossed over (amount redacted by request — but it ain’t exactly small…) since launching last September with, I think, about half of that being the newsletter. I nearly doubled my subscriber base in the year since launching — at a time when I know several other marketers were reporting that they were hanging on for dear life trying to fight churn in their subscriptions. And in the past 12 months I’ve worked fewer hours per week than I ever have, and have spent more in-person hours with my three young kids than ever. I know that sounds cliched or too good to be true … and sometimes I think that myself … but no, it’s legit. And guess what … I’ve built the whole thing almost entirely on the blueprint you taught in elBenbo Press + your Subscription Biz course. (To the point that the first issue of my newsletter literally contained a dedication at the end to you. Yeah, sappy I know, but I like giving credit where it’s due.) The only real downside to the book is how obnoxiously BIG it is. I actually lugged my copy down on a road trip to study when I was planning out my newsletter … and I literally remember sending Troy (who was coaching me) a Marco Polo message complaining about how annoying it was to have to pack something so hefty…! But, yes. I can personally vouch that the info you teach works, if you take it and work hard to apply it. And no, you don’t need to blindly copy every single aspect of how you run your own business to get a huge amount of value out of it. I certainly haven’t. But as a blueprint to build on, elBenbo Press + Subscription Biz have been invaluable to me in building the kind of business that I literally used to daydream about having. === (NOTE: The Subscription Biz offer he references is a totally separate course sold via Learnistic, is far less pricey and comprehensive, and contains about 10% of what I teach in elBenbo Press about my business model. And no, it’s not for sale currently, and no idea when or if it will be again.) Deadline to get elBenbo Press is tonight 9/17 at midnight EDT. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
