Email Players subscriber Marcus Gill says: === I am on the brink of leaving my job as a travel agent

Email Players subscriber Marcus Gill says: === I am on the brink of leaving my job as a travel agent and booking my own luxury customers. It will pay 3x per transaction and 10x overall because I will no longer be booking trash customers the company takes in. I can realistically make $200k for a fraction of the work and time bc these clients are premium. Using your methods I will create my own happy bubble and celebrate blocking or kicking out toxic cheap problem customers. In fact, making fun of them makes up a good part of my sales copy. My current company does $1billion dollars in bookings but, is filled with unhappy people because taking abuse from the general public is the culture. You can’t fire customers as an employee!!! “Not I said the fly!!” I will be out before my Feb birthday. Keep it up Ben! Keep showing folks how to cash in on trolls , Escaping sheeple business owner mentality all while building their ideal lifestyle! I first got over my fear of poverty by learning sales. I am now conquering my fear of losing/quitting a job by learning your style of email marketing. === Obviously not everyone in business has the same experience Marcus is talking about having. But, it does show what is at least potentially possible for businesses who apply the info, take it seriously, and take a long term approach. Which brings me to the September Email Players issue: It’s all about my Sociological Marketing approach. An approach that is the opposite of the typical direct marketing Psychological approach. I ain’t saying my Sociological approach is “best.” But it has been way more profitable for my business over the years. I’ve taught this in my elBenbo Press book but the September issue takes that and drills way deeper into the subject, with far more specifics (elBenbo Press was more of a “birds eye view” look at it, just enough to get started using it) a business can take, run with, and use for many years and decades to come. It transcends metrics, tracking, or spreadsheets. It means not caring what anyone else — including competitors — are up to. And it’s been my experience that long term it is not only far more profitable but makes doing business, doing marketing, writing emails, etc a whole lot more fun and exciting. Your milage may very with that so take with grain of salt. Frankly, I can’t really think of any direct marketers who do it. My influences (ten of which I list inside the September issue) are not really marketers. They are business empire builders, movie directors, musicians, entertainers, but not so much direct marketers, although Sociological Marketing can absolutely work in tandem with direct marketing if you understand it (it’s what I do, I am still a direct marketer, I just don’t do what other direct marketers talk about in a lot of cases). Okay so this is it. Once I send the list to the printer that’ll be the deadline. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
