A book I took my sweet time reading and enjoying a couple years ago… that I believe Quentin Tarantino fans will love... and that his fans who are also marketers will love even more, is called: “Quentin Tarantino: The iconic filmmaker and his work" It’s one of those unofficial & unauthorized books. (Not a self-fapping autobiography) It’s also chock-full of extremely valuable info for the business owner. Especially in how he deals with trolls and critics. For example: After his first movie Reservoir Dogs came out and a bunch of critics started trying to troll and warn people away from it, the violence, the ear being sliced off, all that… Tarantino didn’t do the usual defending and deflecting. No, that’d have been a wasted opportunity. In fact, in one case there was an especially scathing article. His response? He turned that article into a tee shirt. It’s the Copy Troll equivalent of one of his characters decapitating an enemy. Sometimes you don’t need tricks and tips to persuade & influence. Sometimes, you just have to have a bit of fun. What’s more: I like to think we demonstrate how to have fun while doing business on our BerserkerMail YouTube channel. Certainly I am having a blast in creating, curating, the content I have been contributing to it. It’s all email, all the time.
