KUA stands for: “Keeping up appearances” Examples: Back in WW2 the Allies made inflatable decoy tanks to make the Germans think they had a bigger arsenal and more firepower, manpower, etc than they really had. George Washington did the exact same sort of thing during the Revolutionary War (not with tanks obviously) to make the Brits think the Colonial army had more soldiers, firepower, ability to attack & win battles. It’s all purely psychological - to demoralize. KUA is a powerful way of doing business. If you’re doing it right, and you’re on hard times, hurting, in pain, on the brink of quitting… everything going to hell in a hand basket around you with business, family, marriage, kids, current events, whatever it is… nobody should ever know, or even so much as suspect. That is, if you’re KUA. At the very least, even if you do lose, you get to keep your dignity & self respect. Without those two attributes it'll be rough to rebuild. And no, it ain’t easy. In fact, the worse off things are, the harder it is to pull KUA off. But if/when you do, you’ll almost certainly be stronger for it. As for how to KUA? I talk about this in great detail inside the upcoming June Email Players issue. And if this topic is of interest to you I believe (biased as I am) it can help radically change the way you think not only about your business and marketing, but also your trolls, the challenges you deal with in business (and in life), and how to potentially thrive during challenges in a way your competition whining about every little evil that befalls them publicly on social media can only dream of. Powerful stuff this KUA. More inside the June Email Players issue. Deadline to subscribe in time to get it is in two short days. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
