There’s someone I know from the “scene” who’s a copywriting coach. But, this person also admitted to me once — when I was going to do some business with him, and asked hi to write some copy for a project we were JV'ing on — he's not that good a copywriter, but just really good at getting clients. And thus, was scared to death of being thought of as a fraud. Reminds me of a story I heard Dan Kennedy tell about when he first got into public speaking. He was so good at marketing that a respected long time speaker took him aside and said, “be careful with all this great marketing, all you’re going to do is speed up the rate at which people realize you’re no good.” Sobering thought. Especially if you are someone who coaches or teaches copywriting but know you don’t really know what you’re doing. This was rampant on Facebook back when I was on there, with all the so-called copywriting “experts” who have never really sold anything via their copy other than their own services for selling themselves as copywriting coaches/teachers or for their own course, to their followers who buy everything from them anyway. Yes, they probably mean well. And, yes, they are clearly great at getting clients for their own business. But when it comes time to write an actual ad? Not so much. Anyway, that’s the bad news. The good news: My Copy Slacker book — in just the first 150 pages — can help show you how you can quickly start knocking out ads for your business that can convert like gangbusters even if you suck at writing ads now, are overwhelmed with the whole process, and are insecure about your skill levels. But, there’s only a little time left to get it at the fat $200 off the listed price discount. ($624 vs $824). The deadline is tomorrow, Sunday May 21 at midnight EDT. Go here to grab it while the grabbin’s good here: [https∶//www.EmailPlayers.com/slacker]( Use code: ROPER at the checkout. Make sure you see the price change before entering your info. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
