I have to admit: While I had been waiting years to sell Dan Kennedy's 7-Figure Academy course as an affiliate (which I did last month), and while it was a profitable venture for the time spent doing so… the real value in the affair was how immensely educational it was for me personally to see the reactions from non-buyers. Example: All the emo copywriters & autists came out of the woodworks. I already talked about the emo copywriters last month after promoting that offer. But below is an example from one the autists I heard from responding to literally one sentence buried inside one bullet point tucked inside a 1,078-word email from the campaign that said, "7-figures per year comes out to $16k per hour": “You dont need to make 16k per hour to make 7 figures i think rest was great.” Reminds me of that scene in The Lion, The Witch, & The Wardrobe movie: === Mr. Beaver: When Adam's flesh and Adam's bone, sits at Cair Paravel in throne, the evil time will be over and done. Susan: You know, that actually doesn't rhyme. Mr. Beaver: That's not the point! === Anyway, here’s the punchline: The course talks about how strange things begin to happen at 7 figures. And clearly strange things also happen just selling a course on the subject.. Is what it is. Another random thought that has nothing to do with the above is, I saw someone the other day lecturing a guy about a hater living in his head rent free. Whenever someone so much as calls out bad behavior going on, someone, inevitably - you can almost set your watch to it - on the internet will knee-jerk shriek: “He lives rent free in your head lol” And it got me to thinking: Maybe this is not every case. But the 7,8,9-figure biz people I have known or heard their stories over the years had someone living rent free in their head on the way up. And it drove them to impress, attract, make jealous, or just prove the guy wrong. That motivation gives you power. Might as well use it. Just don't stew in it forever. Get what you need from them and move on. But, at the same time, don't ignore the motivation & power a hater can give you. Since I'm already all over the place in this email, let's talk about something else: I've been at this email game for over 20-years in one form or another. Been selling a print newsletter on the subject for almost 12 years (August will be Email Players' 12th anniversary) and over 140 issues, without missing a single month, and many of them extra-sized or even double-sized to contain all the content. And a few years ago I decided to put my money where my mouth is. And I did so by investing in my own email service provider. i.e., email broadcasting/auto-responder platform. It’s got not only my marketing & copywriting “DNA” baked into it, but the DNA of all the best minds I’ve ever learned from about email, marketing, copywriting, persuasion, influence, the whole schmear… combined with the technological & marketing automation knowledge & experience of a former Navy Nuclear Engineer and Encyclopedia Brittanica Director of Technology-turned-world’s-#1-email-automation-specialist who literally wrote “the book” on the subject of marketing automation. In my biased opinion, there ain't no other platform like it when it comes to: 1. Frictionless loading, sending, profiting from email 2. Helping a business get world-class inbox delivery 3. Tracking & testing so robust it gives the advanced email platforms a run for their money, while being so simple and free of useless feature “bloat” even a grunting, club-wielding caveman like me can use it The point: If you’re looking for an email platform, or not happy with the one you use now, we offer free test drives. That means you can relax and put that nasty credit card away. We let you test it out to free to see if it’s your bag or not without any pressure. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
