The short answer: Write emails that reply guys & trolls can't resist responding to. Yes, my pet, even the self-loathing reply guy & troll can be useful… The longer answer as far as getting reply guys & mentally healthy people alike to respond: Is direct from Ryan Healy who owns an email list management company: === Since I started using BerserkerMail a year ago I've not had any issues with my daily emails getting inboxed. In fact, deliverability has been super strong, as far as I can tell. Still, I do like to ask for replies occasionally because it helps me better understand the problems you're facing and how I can better help you. Like the other day I wrote about a "sour gig" and asked if you were interested in me telling the rest of the story. As I watched the replies roll in, I got curious and decided to do the math... A full 3% of my entire list replied to that one email! Just so you know, a 3% click rate is generally considered strong when sending daily promotional emails. I have no idea what a strong reply rate is, but I assume more people would click a link than reply. So I'm going to say that a 3% reply rate is significant. I've used a lot of different ESPs over the years, and I strongly favor two things: deliverability and simplicity. BerserkerMail provides both in spades. === Full disclosure: Ryan is also a BerserkerMail affiliate. And, in fact, if you are on his list, I suggest asking him for his affiliate link to get a BerserkerMail test drive if you so desire to check the platform out for yourself. Knowing Ryan, he’ll take good care of you. And there you go. Never let it be said I don’t give value. Even if it’s someone else’s.. For more info on the platform, see the free BerserkerMail mobile app. Specifically: A back-and-forth discussion about email inbox delivery between the “Godfather of email marketing” (who back in the early 90’s had to teach AOL’s CEO how to use email to market with, if that tells you something) and the co-creator of BerserkerMail, who happens to be a Nuclear Engineer-turned-world’s #1 email automation specialist. Helluva conversation. That goes well beyond just email & delivery. Go here on your mobile device: [https∶//www.EmailPlayers.com/app/email-godfather]( Ben Settle P.S. In other news: I am creating a private social media page (on SocialLair) just for customers of my 10-Minute Workday program AWAI sells. It's not ready yet. But will be in near future. To join you'll have to send me proof you bought it. Do NOT ask their support about it. This is independent of AWAI and not officially a part of the program. Also, don't send me any proof of purchase yet. Just giving customers of that program a heads up for now. Wanted to create a place for customers of that particular program to be able to congregate, do business with each other, help each other, with me doing the occasional Q&A, etc. S really is about to HTF. And I want my boys & ghouls who invested the considerable money it cost in that program to be strong, ready to capitalize on it, not whimper & cower in the corner like most will be doing. More on this later in the month. Again do not send me any proof you bought if you did yet. This email was sent by Ben Settle as owner of Settle, LLC. Copyright © 2023 Settle, LLC. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
