A couple months ago I made an offer to buy a 40-word classified ad in one of my daily emails for the bargain based price of $2,500 for Email Players subscribers and $5,000 for non-Email Players subscribers. There was the usual response by normies of course: “That much for 40 words lol!” Then there were three businesses who took advantage. With several others who waited on the fence who I ignored, didn't bother following up with. (If someone was on the fence, it meant they were not ready.) I ran this offer for many reasons. 1. I genuinely wanted to help my higher class customers and readers grow their lists with leads that I believe will pay them for many years and probably even decades into the future if their offer game is tight 2. I want more businesses to sell classified ads in their emails so I wanted to set the example 3. I thought it’d be a great way to make some dough without “producing” anything I mean, all I did was copy & paste their ads into an email. Not exactly slogging it out in the salt mines. The result? I nabbed $10,000. (Two of them paid $2,500 and one paid $5,000) But, it went beyond that. This was also an experiment of sorts. Personally, I think Darwinian evolution is bull shyt. But there is something about the strong killing off the weak in business surviving. And part of me was genuinely curious how in-demand the offer at those price points would be. The first time I ran such an ad was three years ago, and only to my Email Players subscribers, and specifically only to freelance copywriters. I only charged $500 for those ads and made $2,500 total. If I’d done them for $500 this time I estimate I’d have gotten probably 30+ people wanting to buy (and more overall profit, but more work, managing the ad-side of things, making sure they are compliant, making sure they didn't write shyt, etc) just going by what I know of my list, and have seen over the years. I'll never know, but that is just my guess. It also would have attracted the meek & the weak. I wanted the bold & the strong. And, let’s face it, it takes a lot more balls and faith in me delivering some high quality traffic to pay me $2,500 - $5,000 than it does to pay $500. There’s a certain mentality at play. And I can tell you that these customers took the action of writing a 40-word ad far more seriously, got more out of doing it (just for their own copywriting & skill sharpening, I daresay if you asked them they'd tell you this themselves...), and benefited far more from spending more rather than less. Another thought: One thing I like to do for list building is what I call: “List swinging” It’s the oldest email list-building method on the internet. You go to someone with an email list who you know, like, and trust, and who knows, likes, and trusts you, and where there isn't a lot of overlap in people on those lists (otherwise no point)... and you offer to mail your list about their opt-in page, and they mail their list about yours. Smart marketers jump on this sort of thing when I make the offer. The smaller thinking ones don’t. In fact, they will turn me down because they’d rather sell one of my offers an affiliate instead of mailing their list about my opt-in. Even though mailing their list about my opt-in creates good will towards them (they are not even selling anything), and even though they will very likely get upwards of 1,000 new opt-ins from me the way I do them, and if they have any email game at all will make far more than they would shilling some eBook or whatever as an affiliate. But they either see that or they don’t. Those who don’t I have a hard time taking seriously after that as strategic direct marketers. Maybe brilliant tacticians. But totally low IQ on the strategy side specifically, with zero long game vision. And those who do play ball become like unofficial marketing partners for years to come. All of which brings me to the 7-Figure Academy offer I’ve been piking all week. One of the questions I’ve been getting is from businesses who are not yet at the six-figure level or who are on the newer side, wondering if they should invest in it. And generally speaking, the answer is: No. For one thing, if you have to ask, then that means you aren’t ready for it. It’s meek and weak. No offense to those types. But if you’re looking for permission you are already not qualified. I'd also have a hard time believing someone like that is even at the 6-figure level. And if you're not at the 6-figure level, probably ol' DK's course isn't for you anyway. More on that: It’s very much designed for 6-figure businesses. They’re more likely to have the positioning necessary to build off of to get to 7 than someone doing 5 or less. I’m not saying someone doing 5 or 4 or even 3 or 0 “can’t” use it. I’m just saying it’s not designed for them. And it’s certainly not designed for anyone who has no real business and is just haunting social media all day. Finally: There’s a pattern amongst 7-figure business owners. They simply don’t have the meek & weak attitude. They don’t fear paying more and in fact often weed out based on a lower price. 7-Figure Academy ain’t cheap. But if it was, say $19, the ones who will benefit most from the course wouldn’t even bother buying it. They’d assume it was crap due to the low price. While a weak & meek guy will jump on it, Facebook their purchase to virtue signal about it, and then proceed to do nothing with it other than maybe listening to it once, if that, before moving on to that idiotic TikTok video going viral. All right. So for those on the fence, I hope this helped. Or maybe it just confused you even more, but not my problem if that's the case... Either way, if you want in, and at a discount just for my boys & ghouls, here’s what to do: 1. Buy the course with my affiliate link below by Friday, March 10 at midnight EST. 2. Forward me your receipt by that deadline (you must send it BY the deadline to get it) You’ll get immediate access to the course, and I’ll send you the nearly 2 hour bonus about how I’ve been using the info for almost 6 years now to not only go from six to seven figures, but how I still use the info in my business ventures today. NOTE: you’ll need a smart phone to access the bonus. No exceptions. All right, here’s the link: [https∶//www.EmailPlayers.com/se7en]( Ben Settle P.S. This course is not intended for newbies, amateurs, or goo-roo fanboys playing business on social media all day. Nothing I sell is. But that goes triple for this course. It’s not called “4-Figure Academy”, “5-Figure Academy”, or even “6-Figure Academy.” It’s called “7-Figure Academy” for a reason. It requires a lot of deep thinking, introspection, & hard work to implement. It’s short on checklists or tactics. And is long on strategies and big ideas. There’s a reason why Dan Kennedy is called The Millionaire Maker. And this course illustrates that reason as well as anything I’ve ever seen.
