A reader asked me about the Twitter value-storm question. And now that I am back on there, I have a bit more perspective to give an opinion: === Hey Ben, What's your take on the value-storm going on Twitter -- especially on money twitter? Influencers writing superficial threads and listicles to provide value to get few thousand followers only to later sell 'twitter growth" courses. It started to give me heavy migraines seeing these on my feed that eventually I had to unfollow all of them. So what's your take on this? And also about Twitter in general? === Smells like they're doing what a lot of ezine article marketers did 20 years ago. Every article was literally a numbered list of tips to sell "how to create an online business." No story, no drama, no infotainment, just boring enumerated list of tips everyone would celebrate and wow over the "value", but not use, to sell some crap course not worth the $19 or whatever it cost. Know what would work better for these boys & ghouls? Assuming they are selling something high quality? 1. Do their value storm threads 2. Instead of giving away their solutions 100%, tease them the way I teach teasing in emails (literally no difference, media doesn’t matter with this) in the Email Players Skhema Book I give to new Email Players subscribers 3. End with link to join an email list instead of DM’ing them or whatever The fact it’s 2023 and people still rely on any big tech platform for their audience and list-building and selling at all shows how low basic marketing 101 literacy rates are dropping online. It’s like these people have zero ability to grasp the importance and profitably of ownership of their data. By all means use free social media platforms to build an email list. And then export & backup that list every 24 hours. And then mail that list each day, and sell those buyers something else. There’s your 7-figure per year income stream game plan. It’s not sexy, but it’s got teeth. And that’s why nobody will do it. The good news: I’m not even saying they can’t haunt social media all day if they want. In fact, the upcoming March Email Players issue spends a lot of time showing — with numbers from my own business, proving what I say about this is true — why you shouldn’t even spend a lot of time writing emails. Just gotta understand the game you're really playing. Something people basing 50% or more of their biz on a social media platform clearly don’t understand. If they did, they would do what I command in this email. All right, that’s my take. The March Email Players issue goes deep into several for-real ways to start adding a lot more sales, profits, & influence to your business — and sometimes extremely fast. In fact, I can say with zero hesitation or exaggeration the first Email Players Rule I talk about is the #1 single most profitable thing anyone in ant business can do starting right away, regardless of what you sell, who you sell to, or how big or small your business is now. It’s even based on something filmmaker James Cameron routinely does. (It’s how he made 3 of the highest grossing movies in history) I show you numbers from my own business proving it, too. The problem with that is: I will remove ALL excuses from anyone reading it. Anyone who reads it and bytches to me about being short on money, etc will not be an innocent victim of but a willing victim. Because doing just this one thing alone that I teach inside will make it almost impossible for them not to solve all the problems in their life caused by not having enough money. The caveat is they obviously have to have a list, offer, and business. So it won’t help raw & wriggling newbies. Just real businesses.
