I haven’t sold classified ads in one of my daily emails in almost three years. And, even then, I only sold an ad to people who were (1) freelance copywriters and (2) Email Players subscribers. But today I’m offering it again, including to non-Email Players subscribers and other kinds of businesses besides freelancers. If you are interested in tapping into my list of over 40k double-opted in subscribers that I believe is one of the most responsive lists in my niche to help build your list or sell your offers, this’ll be your chance. Make sure you read the page carefully if you plan to do this. It’s long and detailed for a reason. Make an informed decision, and don’t do it lightly since it ain't cheap. Any questions that are answered on the page will be summarily ignored. Details here: [https∶//www.EmailPlayers.com/classifieds]( Ben Settle P.S. Last time I offered this five people took advantage. I heard back from four of them as far as what happened. (no idea what became of the 5th guy) Following is what they reported to help give you an idea of what is potentially possible. Email Players subscriber Daniel Throssell said: === Running a classified ad to your email list in 2020 is, without a doubt, the single best business decision I have EVER made. It literally launched my entire career, and I’m not exaggerating. To give you some context: When I ran that ad, I had a mostly-dead list of 40 leads that I hadn’t emailed in years. With just one line and a link in your email, I got an extra hundred or two super-hot leads who ended up buying my products, trying to hire me, and spreading the word about me … so that within a few months of running that ad, I was able to give up client work entirely because I was making so much money from my email list alone. I’ve tried SO many other advertising sources since then and I’ve NEVER seen the kind of lead quality I got from a single 40-word classified to your list. Knowing what I know now, I would have paid $20,000 for that ad and it would still have been an absolute bargain. Literally the most profitable advertising I have ever done as a copywriter! [NOTE: Daniel already bought the first of the spots I'm selling, if that tells you something.] Email Players subscriber Doug Pew also said: === I owe you a "thank you." It's probably been 2 years since you did the $500 "write a 40-word classified ad and I'll send it to my list" thing. Just today I closed a $10,000 project with someone who read that classified ad and has been planning to work with me when the time was right. And this is just the first of many projects we discussed. Taking it one step further, this was a result of the little space ad I bought from you, when you allowed us a 40-word classified to your email list. I wrote the sales copy, he created the course. It was a blast. And now we have a whole host of “next” projects planned. === Email Players subscriber Doug Pew said: I owe you a "thank you." It brought in more than double my annual university professor salary in 7 days. We used your "waitlist" model and launched a $297 course to his list with a limited time $97/year upsell for his membership. It was so cool bringing two musical minds... and two Ben Settle disciples together for this launch. Thanks for giving us the vision and strategies. I had 100+ opt-ins to kick-start my list within about 24 hours, and I did client work for a couple of them. It was a great boost precisely when I needed it. I don't have numbers. But the lasting results were: experience writing for markets like financial and cosmetics and momentum that landed me at six figures with a somewhat-longer-than-10-minute workday. === Last but not least, Email Players subscriber Tyler McCune said: Hey Ben, sorry for the delay in response. Wish I could tell you I landed a client from it but unfortunately did not. I honestly was very new to copywriting at the time and didn't really know what direction I wanted to take it so I probably should've waited on the offer. You can use me as an example of who shouldn't buy if you want. That said, it was by far the fastest way I got names on my list. And I bet if I had offers in place and knew what I was doing that I would've made that money back in one sale. And probably made many times that back. It's a stupid valuable offer for anyone qualified, there's no doubt in that. Also, take it or leave it, but me and another copywriter I talked to both thought we'd be competing against a dozen if not dozens of other classified ads. And we both said we would've done different things with our offers and copy if we'd known it was only 5 people. Hope that helps. This email was sent by Ben Settle as owner of Settle, LLC. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
