Email Players subscriber Lachlan Haitana rings in a profitable New Year: === Have been an Email Play

Email Players subscriber Lachlan Haitana rings in a profitable New Year: === Have been an Email Player for about 18 months now, loving it. My writing is levelling up every day. I've started a list, and am mailing it (not daily but building up to that stage!). My work for clients is becoming more refined and in my "style". Things are definitely going well. === That’s what I’m talkin’ about. In “The Shawshank Redemption” there is a line about geology, and how it’s all about time and pressure. If you have enough time and enough pressure nothing can really stand in your way with whatever you’re trying to do. And email marketing done right gives you both in spades. What other media lets you come back day after day for virtually nothing… while letting you let your list know, with as little or as much pressure as you deem necessary, you have an offer that can solve their problems, with a place where they can learn more about it? I suppose other medias can do it. But not a single one has the ROI of email. I recently said I what I want on all my readers, customers, and even haters to strive for in 2023 is: “Be the most consistent guy in the room.” Do that with email and you almost can’t lose. And if you “power” those emails with the information inside the “King-Sized” (28 pages vs the usual 20 pages) January Email Players issue, not only do I believe you almost can’t lose, but I also believe you almost can’t help but being a success — including if your sales copy is weak, your marketing is still in its infancy, and you’re not really sure what to do, or who to listen to, or where to turn. I’m not going to say it’s “newbie” friendly though. Nothing I teach outside of my Villains books are. If you don’t have a real business with an offer and a list it won’t do you a lick of good. I have to be very clear about this as apparently I have been too vague this month. One admitted newbie even asked: "Does this mean one can simply subscribe for this issue and then cancel after that?" My answer: === no, that would be stupid, and you’d waste your money. If you don’t have a real business you should not even be on my list === Saying stuff like that doesn't stop these LARPing marketers from opt-ing in. If anything, sometimes I think it emboldens some of them. Like a challenge. But really, they are just hurting themselves by not having a legitimate business, list, and offer. Which is why while my response looks "harsh" to the sob sisters and mush cookies, it was compassion. I don't want this dude wasting his time or money. Anyone with a "one and done" attitude is simply not someone I want buying anything from me, as they completely miss the point of how success at anything in life works. So I prefer they go haunt someone else. They'll at least feel good while wasting their money unlike Email Players which'll just frustrate them. Thus, I have to always say it even at the risk of sounding like a broken record. As for what the January issue teaches: It goes deep into an especially powerful approach used by arguably the most influential man of the 20th century to grow his own empire — so that your business doesn’t flail and wither away, but can instead grow and prosper the worse and more “f’d” up things get, with a customer base that is potentially far more rabid about listening to you, buying from you, and following you the farther the rest of the world sinks into despair. It’s not about milking money from misery. It’s about “transmuting” that misery into joy and peace of mind. Both for you and your customers/clients. But I have got to warn you: This one is not really a “how to” issue, as much as a “what to do” issue that requires thinking, introspection, and individual adaption to your specific business, situation, and market. I cannot do those things for you, any more than I can wipe your nose for you. Let the goo-roo fanboys take note. They will be especially disappointed by the almost “Pollyanna-ish” info inside that, I believe, can potentially blast a smart business owner’s sales & influence not just to the next level, but another 5 or 6 levels above that, even as the rest of the marketing world proceeds to keep doing what they’ve been doing, getting the same poor results they’ve been getting, while constantly chasing the same nonsensical bright shiny objects they’ve been chasing. Deadline’s today when I sent ‘er on in to the printer. So procrastination ain’t your pal if you want in.
