I’m not sure if the following has been made “public” or not. So the names and details have been removed. But a few months ago, I got an email from someone I highly respect up in this industry asking my opinion on one of his newest ventures, while also asking me if I’d be interested in investing in it. Again, not sure he wants me talking about it, so I am keeping this purposely cryptic. But basically, he was talking about selling bonds in his business, which I thought was an extremely clever idea, especially the way he worked it out. But alas, as I told him, I cannot partake. The reason? I only put that kind of business investment money into my own companies. Specifically: My main Email Players “universe” of offers, the software platforms I co-own with Email Players subscriber Troy Broussard, and my fiction projects. I have other investments circulating out there. But to me, it makes no sense at this point to invest in anyone else’s company, and only my own companies. Thus the reason for my not investing in his company. But, like I also told him: If I’d seen his deal five years ago I’d have been on it like white on rice. Anyway, I don’t know if my snobbery is of any interest whatsoever to you or not. And I am probably the last person anyone should listen to about investing. But, I do stand by the principle of investing in one’s own companies, one’s own education, and one’s own future, as well as the future of one’s children and community. That said, one thing I am investing in (passively) is crypto. I don’t personally do it. And, in fact, I don’t even currently have access to a crypto wallet. I am simply a willing participant in Troy’s newest venture where he figured out a clever way to automate trading crypto currency in a safe way using his knowledge of systems (from his experience as a Navy Nuclear Engineer, enterprise-class software developer, & API-level marketing automation specialist). And I am a participant in two ways: 1. He uses his methods to invest a portion of our software profits into crypto 2. He will be using me as a “case study” for his coaching students using his methods If you want more info on his coaching with this, and get in at a fat discount should you want to join it, use my affiliate link below by Friday 11/11 at midnight EST.
