Many moons ago back in my old elBenbo’s Lair Facebook group, I let one of my customers Holly Mthethwa write a weekly column for women entrepreneurs up in there, that would help make them more attractive to the kind of high value guys they were seeking as boyfriends or husbands. Holly did not teach the typical “badass boss lady” drivel. She went the exact opposite way. And everyone praised her publicly when she posted a new article. But I also saw the screen shots from my spy network in there of private DMs where those same people praising her to the moon publicly were stabbing her in the back and mocking her privately. In other words: She was magnificent and her info was 100% solid. You simply don’t get that kind of reaction unless you’re doing something right in your content and are speaking the truth. So her columns did exactly as I’d hoped they would, and could not possibly have worked out better. So much so, after my Social Lair book launched last year — where I mentioned Holly and her role up in elBenbo’s Lair — she sent me this email: === I got a message from a man who found me through your Social Lair book (thank you for the plug!). Seems he wants to know how to FIND a happy wife. I have a feeling he might not be the last. . .do you know a dating coach for men within your circle/similar approach that I could recommend? === My answer: “just tell them to lift heavy weights, pursue their passions, and talk to girls they find interesting. Literally an entire coaching program in a sentence.” Of course, most guys needing this kind of advice will balk at that. “Too simple” So for a longer answer, I refer them to my Villains books. Start with the first one: “Persuasion Secrets of the World’s Most Charismatic & Influential Villains” Then, proceed to the second volume: “Supervillains of Persuasion” And after that, finish up the trilogy with: “Villainous Weapons of Persuasion” Very important to read them in order. They are also each very short, too — where it’s not unrealistic to finish each book in one, maybe two sittings. They aren’t meant to be long, boring tomes full of fluff and endless anecdotes that just rehash the same points over and over and over. A point the handful of lollipops who gave the books bad reviews whining about the length clearly didn’t grasp. Those types are just reply guys though. And nobody cares what they think anyway. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
