BEN+ has more engagement than CNN+ did

Not that beating CNN+ was much of a high bar to clear. Turns out CNN+ had fewer than 10,000 people using it on a daily basis just two weeks into its existence — meaning more people read my daily musings than were watching CNN+. That means if you have more than 10,000 regularly engaged people in our audience (audience can be email, social media, podcast, etc and all of them combined, wherever your audience is) you are literally more successful than CNN+ was. Actually, now that I think about it: If your offers are selling at all, you are more successful than CNN+ was… Whatever the case, let’s get down to business. The upcoming June Email Players issue is not about lists. But it does talk about why many lists — even with lots of names on them — grow stagnate, why sending emails that work and have worked might stop working, and what to do about it. Nothing earth shatteringly new about the solution. But going by how many ask me how to deal with it, it must not be that common of knowledge. But that’s just one of many things this issue goes into.
