Today is the deadline to get the June Email Players issue. Here’s what awaits those who possess it: * Easiest way in the world to make quick sales in your business ever invented? (You’ll have to be the judge once you try it. But I have absolutely seen sales for businesses swell practically overnight very quickly just doing this one ridiculously obvious thing.) * A “zero conflict” way (used by two of my all-time favorite direct marketers) to divert trolls, haters, and other nasty bums attacking your business online to your competition so they haunt them instead. * An almost creepy way to potentially get whatever it is you want in business and life in droves… even to the point where you get TOO much of it and it overwhelms you! (This spans everything from money, companionship, love, affection, adoration, status, & popularity… to website traffic, clients, customers, response, engagement, & sales. There is nothing “woo-woo” about this, and has nothing to do with nonsensically asking “the universe” or whatever. This is completely logical and based on certain, immutable laws of nature. I have experienced this many times, and know a few others who have, too. But you probably won’t see it harped on in the usual suspect books and courses. Not “sexy” enough probably.) * A cunning way to use your smart phone to create some quick cash flow for your business while also pre-selling clients and customers on buying from you. * Uncomfortable advice to freelance copywriters (none of them wants to hear) who are paid peanuts, hate seeing their copy changed or edited behind their backs, and seem to spend almost as much time persuading clients to do what’s right than writing the copy they were hired for. * Why I should be getting a “thank you” from other businesses my customers buy from. (Same with all my various exs’ boyfriends. Not holding my breath on either — but there’s a powerful and profitable business lesson behind the “quickie” list hygiene lesson inside that explains why I have this attitude.) * The controversial reason why you gotta “love ‘em a little less than they love you” if you want to get what you want out of your clients, customers, lovers, and anyone else you are wanting to influence & persuade. (Does not apply to women. And I suspect most everyone else who reads this won’t “like” it, either. But likes got nuthin’ to do with it, Spanky. See inside for details.) * 4 things that can help save a freelancer’s business when all hell breaks loose with clients you depend on not paying and the wolves (rent, mortgage, whatever) are at the door snarling to be paid. * An obscure, almost forgotten old Batman story that contains the secret to potentially making your business as immune as possible to the double digit inflation, supply chain problems, food shortage crisis, and other idiotic government decision-making policies being cooked up. (Those old comicbook writers were pretty clever. And this is one of the most ingenious examples of how to psychologically weather just about any world-wide financial storm I’ve ever seen.) * What to do if you start mailing regularly, see lots of new sales, then notice those sales drop off or disappear overnight. (This is one of the most-asked questions I get from Email Players subscribers. And it happens so often it’s almost a trope. Fortunately, the solution is so simple, it could be a trope too.) * The single best “cure” for procrastination ever invented? (BONUS benefit: it can also help you attack the really boring tasks/chores/work you hate with more energy and focus, and get better results, too.) * The admittedly weird reason why getting a part time night job (even if you don’t need or want one) can automatically make clients treat you better, take you more seriously, and, yes… pay you more. All right then, here’s the deal: The June issue goes to the printer today. I gotta get the list in so it can hopefully — we will try — be mailed out by end of the week. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
