So says Email Players Rule #179. Here’s the story: Way back in 2014 (on my old “Antipreneur” podcast) I began a series of “Email Players Rules” episodes waxing philosophical about successful maxims & rules I live by not only in marketing & business, but in life in general. Especially those that have made my business dramatically more successful and given me the most peace of mind in life. Many are lessons I’ve learned or observed from others’ successes and failures. A few I figured out on my own. But all have been supremely valuable. I originally wanted to keep doing them as audios. (In my mobile app). But instead I decided to get a lot more cerebral & deep with them by continuing the series in the Email Players newsletter itself. Something I first did last year. (In the October issue). And, now, again in the upcoming June issue. That last one got multiple requests to do more such issues. And, probably, more testimonials than any other issue in 2021. The June issue picks up with Email Players Rule #179. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
