I've been working on a sales page, and had been totally stuck with a massive draft of notes, frustrated and clueless about how to start molding this primordial stew of content into a proper draft. Going through Copy Slacker, I've been able to do that, surprisingly fast, into something I'm really happy with. Most notably, I had created a document with a whole bunch of raw chunks of content-based notes that I had extracted from my product to be made into bullets. But I had no idea what to do with them next to sharpen them up. But having read your section on bullets, I realized the next natural step was to sort them into the twelve categories you presented, and I'm finding each one clearly belongs in one of those categories, or easily could be molded into one of them. And from there I can easily sharpen them up, since I'll know specifically what each one is trying to accomplish. I'm actually doing that right now, gaining traction with a part of my draft I'd been particularly stagnant with, and wanted to take a minute to say thanks. I was truly stuck, and the simplicity and clarity of Copy Slacker is cutting through it like a blade. The latest Player's issue blew my mind, too, and triggered an avalanche of insight, but that's a story for another time. I’m posting it to tease the upcoming May Email Players issue — which is a page-by-page, paragraph-by-paragraph, line-by-line, and precept-upon-precept analysis of my latest sales letter draft selling my next book.
