A quote: “There are only two kinds of people in Washington D.C. Those who want to help Trump save the world, and those who want to save the world from Trump.” So said Trump’s Senior Advisor Jared Kutcher way back when. And it’s an surprisingly powerful business lesson in and of itself. Here’s why: I have long believed people listen to experts, but they follow leaders. There’s nothing inherently wrong with being a mere expert. It simply means having more knowledge about a particular topic than most people. Amazon, for example, is littered with $3.99 eBooks & social media is littered with coaches that are self-proclaimed experts, and specialists, and authorities on this, that or the other. All of which is fine and good and is better than not being an expert. Being an expert will get you listened to in most cases. But people don’t follow, defend, or buy “sight unseen” from mere experts. They will, however, follow, defend, and buy sight unseen from leaders. And often regardless of the offer, recommendation, reviews, or obstacles. On the other hand: Being a leader ain’t all fun and games. It means a lot of responsibility. It means constant threat of failure. And, frankly, it can at times mean being hated at least as much (if not more) than you are loved. In fact, being hated by at least a small number of people is practically a requirement. Leaders are never universally loved. Leaders are never lukewarm about opinions and decision making. And leaders are responsible for the whole show and whatever happens — good, bad, or fugly. Being a leader in a marketing and business sense means knowing your list, audience, customers, fans, and enemies (yes your enemies, too) better than anyone else. It also means knowing what they want and need before they do. And with my “elBenbo Press” methodology (on sale this week) it can mean writing, publishing, and selling your list books, newsletters, and other offers they didn’t even know they wanted and have never asked for, or ever even imagined they would want, need, or ask for at any time in their lives. It’s not just business, sales, or life coach “OMG changing lives!” preaching. No, it means being a revolutionary and never a moderate. Historically speaking, nobody has ever erected a statue to a moderate. Of course, on the other hand, it’s the revolutionaries that always got hung, too. Thus Jared Kutcher's quote above about the two types of people in Washington either being those who wanted to help Trump save the world, and those who wanted to save the world from Trump. The vast majority of business owners up in this industry simply have no stomach for that. Yes, especially the validation-needing “I have zero f-cks to give!” social media warriors. More: Saying in all caps how one gives zero f—cks simply won’t cut it. The fact someone says it, means they do give such f—cks. And, thus should avoid elBenbo Press, which requires 100% detachment from criticism. The book contains my entire high-ticket book & newsletter publishing model that requires leading, not caring what others are doing, and doing what it teaches to develop the instinct it takes to be able to feel & interpret what to sell your list vs blindly relying on what metrics, testing, and surveys tell you. It takes a lot of ambition, patience, and a thick skin, too. Especially when the haters start mewling about your decisions. If you don’t have those attributes it won’t work. On that note, here is something else to consider: “elBenbo Press” is very much a “Ben Settle 400-level” training. That means it is not at-all newbie-friendly. And while I’m not saying you have to have all my other books or be an Email Players subscriber to use it… I will say the longer you’ve been reading my emails, the more of my books you’ve read, and the more of “me” you are familiar with, the more suited you are for this information. It’s also my most expensive book yet, too. But, during the sale this week I am offering it at a thick $200.00 discount off the price listed on the sales page until Friday 11/19 at midnight EST. Here is the link: [https∶//www.EmailPlayers.com/press]( Use code SIZZLE at the checkout. And make sure you see the price change before entering any info. Ben Settle P.S. If you are interested in buying this book, read the sales letter very carefully before pulling the trigger. Don’t be a fool and purchase on blind impulse. This book is not only expensive, but the information inside requires substantial amounts of effort, ambition, patience, time, and discipline to learn, master, and profit from. Don’t say you weren’t warned. This email was sent by Ben Settle as owner of Settle, LLC. Copyright © 2021 Settle, LLC. All Rights Reserved. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
