A true story about influence & persuasion for your reading displeasure: When I first got into this kooky world of marketing & copywriting 22+ years ago, one of the very first lessons I heard, learned, and had “stick” in my psyche was that nobody in the history of the human race has ever “changed” someone’s mind. But that ain't true. Even minds completely “soldered” to something can be changed. I don’t care if it's switching cereal brands or if it's religion or even politics. Example: A few years ago I got a testimonial from a hardcore libertarian guy (i.e., “fiscally conservative yet socially liberal”) who told me something I casually said — in about 10 words — in an old Facebook group I used to own completely and forever changed his long-held opinions about abortion. He went from pro choice to pro life in a Thanos-like snap. All because of 10 words. Ten words I used that I had originally heard from my pal and publisher of my Enoch Wars horror novels and Villains books Greg Perry. These 10 words also helped change Stefania’s life-long stubborn opinion on this particular issue, too, even after growing up for 30 years in the New York City echo chamber tower of progressive babble. Meaning, not only did those 10 words change at least two stubbornly closed minds on the subject, but also is at least partly responsible for little Willis’ very existence — as those are the 10 words that originally made Stefania more interested in me than just my business persona, and has since turned her staunchly pro-life in a way that’d make Margaret Sanger's corpse twitch. All from 10 measly words. Ten words that, while are not talked about inside it, are in strict accordance with what I teach in my newest book “NOfluence” about creating Vision - and in a way that can help give certain people almost no choice but to do your bidding whether it’s buying from you, agreeing with you, or following you. Note how I said "certain people" and “almost no choice.” This isn’t LARPing copywriter fantasy land talking about mind control. And it does not “work” on everyone and it's not based on manipulation. In fact, while the 10 words above did change the minds of at least two people, many who read those ten words probably balked and, if anything, tripled down on their arguing with me on the subject - even as I grew more and more amused by watching their rationalization hamsters spin while doing so. (I posted it at night, went to bed, woke up to a thread of a couple hundred comments, something I enjoyed doing in there some nights just to spice things up...) So no... using this method of Vision won’t change everyone’s mind. But there's a good chance many won’t be able to brush off what you say. And, when it comes to selling and direct marketing you don't need everyone buying nor will everyone buy anyway. And with this particular thing I talk about - that is not "new" (let the drooling, dopamine-addicted goo-roo fanboy who gets excited by hacks & tricks take note) but might as well be - it’s no different. I sure as hades don't see a lot of people doing it right. It's why I've been writing about it and teaching about it so much lately. The world deserves better marketing and copywriting than what it's been getting. And doing what NOfluence can, I believe, can make it very likely a qualified lead not only wants to buy from your business or hires your service, but can potentially abort a lot of would-be objections you'd get otherwise, too, without creating buyer’s remorse, and while going all “in” on whatever you are selling, so that they are more likely to consume, use, apply, benefit from and, ideally, refer to you abundantly all as a result. Quite the tall order indeed. But, I have seen this work in all kinds of situations. And, I believe it can potentially work for most any business to beef up sales. That is, if you possess a copy of my new book “NOfluence” and read & apply it. After “NOfluence” launches it will sell for $600.00. But during this week's sale (until Thursday, June 20 at midnight EDT - check your time zones if you don't want to miss it, you been warned...) you can have it at a $100.00 discount (so for $500.00 instead of $600.00) off the listed price at the link below. Here’s the link: [( Use code AZRIEL at the checkout for the discount. Ben Settle P.S. If you already possess some of the Email Players issues above, you’ll have to decide whether it is worth paying for this offer or not. So please read the sales letter thoroughly, and think carefully before purchasing, if that is the case. P.P.S. “But Ben, what were the 10 words???” I’ll probably save that for a future Email Players issue, where it can be done in context. Although it would be amusing to watch it miff the gaggle of reply guys who are world class ex-spurts when it comes to female reproduction, yet can't define what a women is. However, I will say this: “NOfluence” does show a similar argument like those 10 words — like putting those 10 words on steroids, but with far more than 10 words — that is not only a demonstration of the method of influence & persuasion I am talking about, but persuades without arguing, debating, or so much as creating a single objection. Probably a lot of liberals won’t like it much. But nobody cares what they think anyway.. This email was sent by Ben Settle as owner of Settle, LLC. Copyright © 2024 Settle, LLC. All Rights Reserved. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
