Recently my biz partner at BerserkerMail Troy Broussard wrote: (In the free BerserkerMail Mead Hall Facebook group) === How Innovation in BerserkerMail Happens... It goes something like this... * Me or Ben (mostly me) gets pissed off * I'm wasting time doing “something repetitive & stupid” that the platform could (and thus, SHOULD) do for me * Issue an ultimatum to the team with a hard and aggressive deadline * I remove the interface (if possible) and have the dev team focus on functionality first, make it pretty second... and roll it out into production but hard coded to ONLY my app for me to play with it first while our designer works on the user interface A new feature is born. So basically, it all comes down to me getting pissed off... and Ben Settle can tell you, that's a pretty regular event. === This is one of the big, glaring example of the difference between using an email broadcasting/auto-responder service that is run by developers, managers, and blue-haired’s with pronouns in their bios taking 100s of thousands of money from bankers and investors (and then still raising your prices...) that have no clue what an email marketer needs… vs a small, closely-held, and debt-free service that was created by email marketers (who use email each day in our own businesses) for email marketers — with a helpdesk run by two Email Players subscribers who also “get” email, and how to help email marketers. What does that kind of helpdesk service look like, exactly? Well, take this ditty from BerserkerMail client Carlos Samaniego: === I just wanted to say your support hit it out of the park again! Yesterday, we noticed all of our company emails were going to go to spam. I thought it had something to do with all the emailing I had been doing, so I reached out to Gmail and GoDaddy for help, but both were clueless. Then, I reached out to support at Berserkermail and got an immediate response from Lance. He quickly identified an error in my settings that had nothing to do with Berserkermail. He showed me how to fix it, and it worked immediately. WOW. All I can say is wow!! Thanks again to your amazing team! === If you want to play with BerserkerMail free simply go here: [( Ben Settle This email was sent by Ben Settle as owner of Settle, LLC. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
