One of my readers once gave fapGPT this prompt: âWrite copy for Warm Jackets in Ben Settleâs voiceâ. The result? Didnât look, sound, feel, smell, or taste like anything Iâd write. If anything, it was the exact opposite. Not long after that, another guy ran a prompt about me and out of the six things it said, only one was even close to being in the realm of reality. Like, for example, it said âBen Settle uses a salutation in his emailsâ which I have not done since probably 2008 or 2009. When I bring this up to the AI bois, the answer is usually something like: âgive it 2 more years broâ Iâd give it 200 years if I thought it would help. But it wonât. And whenever I hear that sort of thing I think of that scene in Ironman 2 when the North Koreans tried to make an Ironman suit and it was so silly, and useless, and pointless, it was obvious they were not years but decades â and maybe longer than that â away from doing anything like the real thing. Anyway, I bring this up because I got AI on my mind. And the reason I have AI on my mind is because while I do think it has many practical applications as a tool, I also believe itâs only going to amplify the weaknesses of the people fapping to it as some kind of "done for you" tool who canât sell now, canât create content now, canât do anything that works now. Take, for example, online course creation. Iâm not much of a âcourseâ guy. Iâm more of a book & newsletter guy. But a whole lot of my customers are course guys. And as AI is more adopted, there is not a single doubt in my mind that itâs going to create a mass explosion of online courses. And the vast majority of those courses will be (and already are, from what I have seen) just as mediocre as the courses the great unwashed asses are creating now, even if they do see a short uptick in sales before the market corrects itself and buyers start becoming more discerning again. Something else: AI wonât, for example, show you how to pick the right format. That comes with a lot of trial & error and humanity. For example, it took me some 9 years to figure out my favorite formats. I once launched an offer with a format that I despised, had a great launch, only to kill it off after the first month (it was not even a course â it was continuity). Happened again about 7 years after that when I, again, thought I found a great format only to have that be something I killed off even before the end of the launch. Lots of wasted time, money, energy. Made me look like a schnook too. Which brings me to the non-pitch: One of the few legitimately teaching about courses is my pal Danny Iny. Danny is one of two people on the entire planet I even recommend for course creation. And to help him (I am NOT an affiliate â we just like to help each other out, and have many times over the years â so nothing in it for me if you buy or not) Iâm letting my list know about the launch heâs doing for his own magnificent course program. And today heâs giving away a blue print for picking formats, specifically, that I think can help a lot of people out with this. The report is free. Itâs also full of practical info you can use, too, whether you buy anything from him or not â that is Dannyâs launch style. Unlike me, he is a âgive away lots of legit valuable stuff people can use whether they buy anything or notâ kinda marketer. (Not me - Iâm more of an obnoxious teaseâ¦) Anyway, itâs yours, today if you donât dawdle. In fact, I believe today is the last day you can even get this free training. If that is the case and you are seeing this email too late because you have a life outside of reading my emails each day thatâs just too bad for you. Not reading my emails immediately upon arrival is forbidden â as the schlubs who missed out on my Email Bastard! promo this week found out and this morning have been asking me to make an exception for lil' ol' them after the deadline, which I never do⦠Point is this - get it while the gettingsâ good, go here: [httpsâ¶//www.EmailPlayers.com/course]( The above is an "affiliate" link, but only for Danny's team to see what's happening. I get paid no money if you buy or not buy anything from him. Again, we just like to help each other out. Ben Settle This email was sent by Ben Settle as owner of Settle, LLC.
