Behold a cautionary tale. True story for the ages: There’s an Internet marketer I’ve dealt with a lot who once had a huge, thriving email list in a fitness-related niche. He made a decent income from that list (probably more than 95% of other online marketers). And, all was well in his business — with the birds chirping, the pigeons crowing, and the sun shining & stars twinkling in the heavens. Then, one day, his biggest nightmare happened: His auto-responder company shut him down! Admittedly he did have unusually high spam complaints. But not as many as a lot of others in his industry. And he was there one day, and the next they dropped his account like a bad habit Worst part? He never backed up his lists. He always knew he could and should back up his lists. But it was just kind of a pain in the gluteus bootyus manually logging in and doing it. (I am the same way — it just is not one of those things I was ever been very good at doing consistently — too tedious). Thus, his entire business was wiped out. In a single day. All because of some nervous nellie employee he'd never meet. And this was at one of the better email autoresponder companies, not one of the flake-converged ones who de-platform businesses because some lollipop complains about them on Twitter or whatever. It was a huge wake up call for me. And why we added autoback up-and-mail-to-the-client each day to BerserkerMail. But if you stubbornly & foolishly refuse to use BerserkerMail then here’s a one word solution: Zapier. Troy Broussard was telling me how there's some really simple ways to use Zapier to not only automate practically all your email automation… but also auto back up/export your list in real time automatically. As he puts it in his Automation Magic course: “Imagine every single person that opts into your platform, just immediately getting that same information shuffled over onto a Google Sheet and having that ongoing real-time backup of your data so that you can sleep easy at night and not worry about something happening or being de-platformed or having access to everything that you need. And so that can be very, very useful. But it really goes beyond just backing up.” More: If you use affiliates, he also teaches a secret way of using Zapier to get affiliates pumped up and excited to promote your offers for you, and potentially make you both a boatload of the green stuff. Okay, enough teasing for today. Here’s the deal: Troy’s Automation Magic course is on sale to those who using my affiliate link below for a full $100.00 off the regular retail price until Sunday (4/7) at midnight EDT. I can’t make any guarantees of course. But personally, I cannot imagine anyone with a business going through this and not potentially making 100’s — and maybe even 1000’s — of times the price back over time, if you use it, take it seriously, and implement even a few of the “low hanging fruit” methods inside. But time’s getting short and the cruel deadline is almost upon you. Here’s my affiliate link: [http∶//www.EmailPlayers.com/automate]( Ben Settle P.S. Troy’s also including 2 LIVE Q&A calls for those partaking of my affiliate link by the deadline... along with a detailed automation walk through that DEMONSTRATES all of the cool automation he has been using in a series of challenges he’s been promoting to his list recently so you can do the same if you so desire. The deadline is Sunday 4/7 at midnight EDT. Simply use my affiliate link by then and it’s all yours. Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
