Here's a wriggling one for you. Following is a response to my email earlier this week about liberals who (during the pandemic) were pushing to have guys like me who didn’t take the fake vaks silenced, imprisoned, monitored, and even our kids taken away according to a Rasmussen poll - not to mention what journalists and other assorted dumb asses in the media were vocally saying and writing at the time. Here’s the reply: “This email literally reads like schizophrenia. Wtf has happened to you over the last few years? You used to be my favorite copywriter guru, but now you've definitely gone off the deep end in pursuit of controversy to get clicks. It's sad.” The irony: 1. Says he's been on my list for the last few years… and yet that was literally the 3rd time (once per year) I’ve sent that email that he is so upset over 2. Over the last few years I’ve toned my political opinions down considerably compared to 5, 10, and especially 15 years ago — as I live in a peaceful, homogeneous bubble (almost like a hobbit) — and far from the troubles of the world, in a place where I’m more likely to see a Bigfoot than a drag queen… and usually couldn’t care less about most politics anymore. Although, admittedly, that change soon upon completion of purchasing some ownership in a regional newspaper in a few weeks. So if the little troll above thinks I'm kooky now, wait'll he sees what is coming next.. 3. His reply was a perfect — 10/10 — demonstration of how trolls project. ALL trolls project. They literally can't help themselves and is part of their pathology. Self hatred and/or self projection are “marks” that ID them every time. Frankly, I sometimes think it’s an obsessive compulsive disorder trolls inherently have either by accident of birth or accident or from being abused and rejected so many times. It’s a rule of trolls: Whatever they accuse you of they are doing themselves. It’s as reliable a tell as someone asking you if you have a refund policy planning to refund. Yes, being a troll truly is a mental disorder... All right enough troll mockery for the soul. Down to the bid’niz: If you want to learn how I and many of my customers have been profiting from trolls like the one above… and start getting some of that troll-generated money coming into your business, too, tonight’s the deadline to get my Copy Troll book.
