Hey y'all, We’re writing to let you know that it’s been an honor to communicate and work with you for the last couple of years. Votes across the country are still being counted, control of the House is still up in the air and the Georgia Senate race is headed to a runoff, so this midterm election isn’t really over yet. But we want to take a moment to share what we’ve done together: - We raised a total of $370,625 thanks to your generosity. And we deployed those funds to support key candidates and causes across the state of Texas. - We directly contributed over $60,000 on behalf of (re-elected) Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, a rising star in Texas politics who we all need to look out for in the months and years to come. In part because of your contributions, she fended off a Republican challenger who massively out-raised and outspent her. - We raised over $45,000 on behalf of Beto O’Rourke, an exceptional candidate who has done more for the Democratic Party in Texas than he gets credit for. He waged a great campaign, and though he came up short, we’re forever proud to have supported Beto. - We raised more than $15,000 on behalf of the Texas Organizing Project, which year after year runs one of the most strategic and effective electoral campaigns in Texas. - We built a network of tens of thousands of people who receive and engage with digital content about politics in Texas, who volunteer on campaigns, and who contribute money to support candidates up and down the ballot. Our social media footprint is huge. We built a powerful online megaphone that reached thousands of Texans at key moments of the election. - On Twitter, we built a powerful online megaphone that was able to reach thousands of Texans at key moments of this election. We made 2.2 million impressions on Twitter since we launched, shaping the story about [Lina’s race]( [Abbott’s record]( and the [opportunity]( we have to make Texas a better place for all of us. - On Facebook & Instagram, we reached hundreds of thousands of Texans with our targeted ad programs, and original posts that highlighted all of what’s wrong with [Abbott’s plans]( for our state, and Republicans’ [record](. We know that changing our state takes more than voting - it takes earnestly seeking to change hearts and minds, and we are grateful for everyone who engaged with us online, shared the story, and grew our movement. We’ll have more to say in the coming weeks and months. But for now, thanks for everything you did to make Boot Texas Republicans a success. Thanks, y'all, Boot Texas Republicans Texas Republicans have let thousands of Texans die. We're a home-grown movement to give them the boot. Chip in now so we can organize year-round to mobilize voters and defeat Greg Abbott and all his enablers in office. [DONATE NOW »]( This email was sent to {EMAIL}.
