On the surface, these excuses often seem very rational and even logical. But really, these excuses are just fear doing its best to keep us safely within our comfort zone. And we all know that staying in your comfort zone isn’t how you build the life you really want. So, how do you learn to stop letting buts control you? You start by taking more small risks. And one of the best ways to do that is by experimenting with your style. Sure, it’s going to be awkward at times; growth is awkward. But working through the awkwardness is where true confidence comes from. So, grow that beard, rock that mustache, let your hair get long, or do whatever else you want to try. Cut the buts.
