We’re sick to our stomachs… Our country just witnessed its 146th mass shooting of the year. A gunman with an AR-15 opened fire on a bank in Louisville, Kentucky, slaughtering at least 4 people and wounding 9 more. [Assault weapons are plaguing our communities, {NAME}. But Republicans continue to insist guns aren’t the problem and block our efforts to ban assault weapons. That’s why we have to keep up our fight to get these weapons of war off our streets. So we are urgently asking for 982 gifts to help us fully fund our campaign to reinstate the assault weapons ban and defeat every coward who refuses to protect our communities. Can you rush $15 before midnight to help us replace every spineless gun-lobby backed lawmaker with a champion who will fight to protect our communities? >>]( Republicans don’t care whether we live or die, {NAME}. Don’t believe us? See for yourself: [Thomas Massie's Christmas Card]( This is Thomas Massie’s Christmas card from 2021. He represents half of Louisville in Congress. This glorification of weapons of war is horrifying. All Massie and his fellow Republicans care about is scoring cheap political points from the gun lobby while our loved ones continue to be slaughtered. [We deserve better. We deserve to feel safe in our banks, grocery stores, schools, places of worship, and everywhere in between. That’s why we’re fighting hard to ban assault weapons once and for all and end mass shootings for good. But we need help to keep our movement to defeat the likes of Thomas Massie going. So can we count on your $15 before midnight? >>]( [Chip in $15 now >>]( [Chip in $25 now >>]( [Chip in $50 now >>]( [Chip in $100 now >>]( [Chip in another amount now >>]( Thanks for your support, Team Ban Assault Weapons NOW! Legislators that support the deadly proliferation of guns, instead of common sense gun safety measures, are responsible for the carnage of gun violence -- and must be voted out. BAWN also lobbies legislators to support the assault weapon and large capacity magazine ban bills that will help put an end to the slaughter of innocent Americans. But they can’t do this alone. BAWN is relying on your support to kick every coward who refuses to protect our children and families OUT of office. Will you chip in right away?
