{NAME}, it’s Sam Schwartz. 27 days ago, the Tour to Save Democracy launched from San Antonio, TX. [Across the last 27 days, the Tour to Save Democracy has:]( → Driven over [over 9,000]( from coast to coast → Visited [15 crucial swing districts in 11 states]( including Michigan and Pennsylvania → Rallied Gen Z voters around [15 Democratic candidates]( running up and down the ballot And today[, we’re hosting the final event of our tour in Orlando, FL, with Congressman Maxwell Frost where we’ll rally Gen Z voters to get out the vote.]( [{NAME} – even though the Tour to Save Democracy is coming to a close, our work is far from over. The gun safety candidates we have been supporting are running in swing districts that are CRUCIAL to securing the Democratic Majority in Congress we need to end gun violence, protect our fundamental rights, and save our democracy. But Republicans like Mike Johnson are pumping heaps of money into these races to keep their tenuous grip on power. That’s why Ban Assault Weapons Now has donated $2,500 to each of the Tour’s endorsed candidates to help them counter gun-lobby-backed Republicans’ attacks. And now, they’re committing to contribute another $2,500 per candidate. That’s how important this is, {NAME}!! But we still need to raise $50,000 before the tour ends in 11 hours to fully fund BAWN’s Gun Safety Majority Fund. Can I count on you to pitch in $15 before right now? Your donation goes directly to supporting candidates like Angela Alsobrooks, Tony Vargas, Maxwell Frost, and many more running up and down the ballot to END the reign of gun lobby cronies in government. >>]( [GUN SAFETY MAJORITY FUND]( [NAME: {NAME}]( [GOAL: $50,000]( [DEADLINE: 08/08/24, 11:59 PM]( [SUGGESTED DONATION: $15 >>]( For many folks my age, 2024 will be the first Presidential election we can vote in. So my Gen Z peers and I are determined to make our voices heard and elect leaders who will truly represent us and our interests. Leaders like Kamala Harris, Michelle Vallejo, Gabby Giffords, Maxwell Frost, Tony Vargas, and so many more gun safety Democrats committed to fighting for our freedoms. Because, {NAME}, so much is on the line this election: …Our freedom to decide what we do with our own bodies …Our freedom to speak up and speak out for what we believe in …Our freedom to live safely from gun violence and mass shootings …Our freedom to love and marry who we want [Put simply, {NAME} – all the freedoms we hold dear are on the line in November.]( [That’s why I’ve been traveling across the country alongside a coalition of Gen Z leaders for the last 27 days to stop Republican inaction in its tracks and mobilize young voters to vote for candidates who will prioritize our lives and our freedom. But we’re just getting started! Our Tour To Save Democracy candidates need our continued support to clinch victories in their hotly contested swing districts. These districts will make or break our chances at securing a gun safety Democratic Majority in Congress – so we can’t afford to let these bold Democrats down. BAWN is contributing $5,000 to each and every 20 candidates we endorsed – but they’re $50,000 short of their goal to fully fund their contributions. {NAME}, will you chip in $15 before the Tour to Save Democracy ends in 11 hours and help us send a gun safety Majority to Congress? The more you give, the more we can give to gun safety Democrats running against extremist Republicans in battleground states like Pennsylvania and Ohio. >>]( [Chip in $15 now >>]( [Chip in $25 now >>]( [Chip in $50 now >>]( [Chip in $100 now >>]( [Chip in another amount now >>]( Thank you for all that you do, Sam Schwartz Founder & Executive Director of Tour To Save Democracy        ‚ ‚ BAWN is committed to replacing every cowardly and complacent lawmaker, regardless of party, that denies your right to live without fear of being shot. Legislators that support the deadly proliferation of guns, instead of common sense gun safety measures, are responsible for the carnage of gun violence -- and must be voted out. BAWN also lobbies legislators to support the assault weapon and large capacity magazine ban bills that will help put an end to the slaughter of innocent Americans. But they can’t do this alone. BAWN is relying on your support to kick every coward who refuses to protect our children and families OUT of office. Will you chip in right away?
