[{NAME} – it’s Sam Schwartz. A lot has happened since we kicked off the Tour to Save Democracy on July 12th, and I wanted to update you on what we’ve been up to since we hit the road from San Antonio – plus tell you why your continued support of the Tour and our Democratic candidates is so important. Our endorsed candidates are the key to securing the Senate and House and propelling Kamala Harris into the White House – so we need you now more than ever. If you can’t read all the way through, would you chip in $15 to help keep the bus fueled before you go? Your contribution goes toward covering tour necessities and supporting the Democratic candidates we’re rallying around in swing districts across the country. >>]( {NAME}, I have a MAJOR update for you! This week, the Tour to Save Democracy hosted our 9th rally in Lansing, MI – and it was another incredible success. [That was all thanks to the passion of young voters and the folks who believe in us.]( Since our very first rally in San Antonio, TX, Gen Z-ers have shown up and shown out to support Democratic candidates like Michelle Vallejo, Emily Busch, Tony Vargas, and more. [Tour to Save Democracy]( So far, we’ve visited 9 districts in 5 states and we still have a long way to go. [And in just the last 15 days since our Tour launched, our political landscape has shifted completely.]( First, a shooter armed with an AR-15 killed one attendee of a Trump rally and injured Trump and one other – just months after Republicans BLOCKED a ban on assault weapons. Then, President Biden BRAVELY stepped down from the race for the presidency and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris – just days after Trump became his party’s nominee. [So now, it’s never been more important for us to rally around Vice President Harris and all Democratic candidates – especially those running in battleground districts that could make or break a Gun Safety Majority in Congress. Trump and his MAGA Republicans are already SHAMELESSLY smearing Vice President Harris with vile lies – and they’ve vowed to do the same to each and every Democrat running up and down the ballot. Republicans have over $331 MILLION in the bank to bury our Democrats in the polls, cinch every close swing district, and storm back into power. We can’t let them go unchallenged. So I’m personally asking, {NAME}: Can you pitch in $15 to support the Tour to Save Democracy and our candidates before midnight? BAWN has pledged to MATCH $45,000 in contributions for candidates endorsed by the Tour – so your donation to elect gun safety Democrats will go further than ever before. >>]( [Chip in $15 now >>]( [Chip in $25 now >>]( [Chip in $50 now >>]( [Chip in $100 now >>]( [Chip in another amount now >>]( Thank you for all that you do,Sam SchwartzFounder & Executive Director of Tour To Save Democracy [PS: Check out my appearance on Red Wine & Blue’s “Suburban Women Problem” podcast to hear more about the Tour to Save Democracy! >>](         BAWN is committed to replacing every cowardly and complacent lawmaker, regardless of party, that denies your right to live without fear of being shot. Legislators that support the deadly proliferation of guns, instead of common sense gun safety measures, are responsible for the carnage of gun violence -- and must be voted out. BAWN also lobbies legislators to support the assault weapon and large capacity magazine ban bills that will help put an end to the slaughter of innocent Americans. But they can’t do this alone. BAWN is relying on your support to kick every coward who refuses to protect our children and families OUT of office. Will you chip in right away?
