We want to make sure you’re in the loop. You’re receiving this email because you’ve expressed interest in defending and expanding our Democratic Senate majority. Democratic candidates are working overtime to stay competitive, but when there is a clear Republican opponent, we start losing ground. We are falling behind the two crucial battleground states, Georgia and Florida, and Kentucky is looking increasingly difficult. New Hampshire is a bright spot, but the GOP is still finalizing who they will run and we know it will tighten at that point The Breyer retirement makes it clear - we can’t afford to lose the Senate and the races especially in GA and NH are must wins. Check out the stats: We know that it’s an absolute must for Democrats to hold the Senate if we want to protect our democracy and help President Biden pass his agenda for the American people. The bad news is that the Republicans currently have the edge. The good news is that we know we can win some of these critical races if we organize and fight hard. We saw how investing early in battleground races won us two senate seats in Georgia that many thought were impossible to flip. Those seats gave us the votes we needed to pass a historic COVID recovery bill and (fingers crossed) to appoint the first Black woman to the Bench! Now we have to protect those hard-won seats and expand our majority in the Senate. Battleground Expansion Project is working to elect Democratic senate candidates in states across the country. We need help from Democrats like you to carry out our mission and lay the groundwork for victory in November.
