Hey, I've got two things for you today: Thing #1 Tomorrow I'm opening enrollment for my new premium

Hey, I've got two things for you today: Thing #1 Tomorrow (Tuesday, November 6th) I'm opening enrollment for my new premium business training course, SEO That Works 3.0. SEO That Works is the proven system trusted by over 3,000 students, in 51 countries, spanning 43+ different industries. And I recently overhauled the entire program to make it bigger and better than ever. (Hence the “3.0”. Pretty clever, right? :-D) I'll send more information about SEO That Works 3.0 tomorrow (Tuesday). So keep an eye out for an email from me. Thing #2 A quick story (and an important lesson I had to learn the hard way): So, as you might have read, my first site was in the weight loss space. And it was an epic failure. If there was one word that I could use to describe how I felt about SEO back then, it'd be... ...actually, I can't say that word here. This is a family friendly newsletter ;-) So let's go with: "frustrating". Here's what happened next: After I gave up on my failing weight loss blog, I picked myself up off the canvas and launched another site. And another. And another. After four years of struggling, I FINALLY put the pieces together. In 2012 I launched a site in a "boring" niche. And despite that, I was able to quickly get that site to the first page of Google. In fact, I took that site from a blank WordPress installation to 10k/month in revenue… in just four months. Next stop: Backlinko That's when I thought to myself: "I'm using white hat SEO strategies that actually work. Why aren't there any blogs or courses teaching this stuff?" So I decided to create the blog I wanted to read. And after a few months of procrastination, Backlinko was born. When I first launched Backlinko, I used the same system that I used for my 10k/month site. And, like clockwork, my traffic quickly shot up. (That's the power of a proven system) In fact, Backlinko went from zero to more than 21k visits/month in its first six months. But I wanted MORE. So I continued to test new SEO and content marketing techniques.... ...and incorporated those that worked into my system. The rest, as they say, is history. Today, thanks to my unconventional approach to SEO and content marketing, Backlinko brings in over 200k unique visitors every month in an extremely competitive space. And that traffic is a big part of the reason that Backlinko has quickly grown into a 7-figure business (and growing). The moral of the story? Without a system, you have to put the pieces together from blog posts, forum threads and YouTube videos. And if your approach to learning SEO is "reading blog posts", let me wish you good luck (because you're going to need it). But when you have a system, just follow the steps... and you're SET. And tomorrow I’ll invite you to join my training program, SEO That Works 3.0. Yes, I’ll send you what’s in the program, how much it costs, and how it can help. I’ll also help you decide whether this course is the right decision for you. So keep your eyes peeled for an email from me tomorrow. See you then.
