When it comes to Arizona, everything is on the line. Our democracy is on the line. Up and down the ballot, the AZ GOP nominated far-right extremists who would destroy our democracy to please Donald Trump. They promise to end early voting and mail-in voting, and they promise to somehow go back in time and undo the 2020 election â they wonât even promise to follow the law in 2024. Our right to control our reproductive rights is on the line. Republicans push to reinstate a pre-statehood ban on abortion, including jail time for doctors and pharmacists. Some GOP candidates even want to ban birth control. They wonât stop until they have total control. Our communities are on the line. Our current Republican leadership is hellbent on decimating our public schools. They make our educators beg for resources and consistently try to divert as much public funding to private schools as possible â without increasing the funds. Theyâve always sold off our water to special interests at a huge discount. While Arizonans are forced to cut back on water usage, Republicans let special interests pump out as much as they want.
