(NASDAQ: LRHC) LRHC is a newly listed NASDAQ company that just had its IPO this week. Following its IPO, LRHC traded as high as 5.53. That is more than 63% above yesterday’s close of just 3.38. The company’s “business is organized based on the services they provide internally to their agents and to the public, which are residential and commercial real estate brokerage, franchising, real estate brokerage education and coaching, and property management”. LRHC has “five La Rosa Realty corporate real estate brokerage offices located in Florida, 28 La Rosa Realty franchised real estate brokerage offices in six states in the United States and Puerto Rico”. The Company’s “real estate brokerage offices, both corporate and franchised, are staffed with more than 2,380 licensed real estate brokers and sales associates”. According to a recent publication from Norada, here is a brief synopsis of the current real estate market: - “Home prices will continue to rise but at a slower pace. The rapid rise in home prices that we saw in recent years is likely to slow down in the next few years. However, home prices are still expected to rise, albeit at a more moderate pace.” - “The supply of homes for sale will increase. This is due to a number of factors, including strong job growth, population growth, and a limited supply of land.” As another publication points out: “In today’s market, tight inventory gives sellers the upper hand. There are more buyers than there are homes available, so each home that comes on the market becomes more of a hot commodity than it might if there were more options to choose from.” Furthermore: “There are simply not enough homes for sale,” Yun said in a statement earlier this year. “The market can easily absorb a doubling of inventory.” Now, investors are getting an opportunity to own this company for the very first time following their NASDAQ IPO this week. On Tuesday, the company announced: “La Rosa Announces Pricing of Initial Public Offering and Nasdaq Listing” As the company further explains: “The Company intends to use the net proceeds of the initial public offering for general corporate purposes, which may include financing growth by acquiring more agents at a faster pace, repayment of debt, developing new services, acquisitions of controlling interest in a number of the Company’s franchisees, the acquisition of other independent real estate brokerages, title insurance agencies, mortgage brokerages and other complementary businesses, general operating expenses and the purchase and acquisition of proprietary technology.” LRHC could be positioned for a bounce higher.
