Here’s how I want to you spend it … [The Writer’ s Life]( February 5, 2024 "Preparation for tomorrow is hard work today." – Bruce Lee Happy Monday Morning, {NAME}! You might call me a weirdo, but I believe Mondays are awesome. Don't get me wrong … I do love a good weekend full of fun … But just like the "new year" … Mondays are full of hope and promise. This week's story is still unwritten! Only unlike January 1, Mondays happen each and every week. Stick with me … Studies have shown Mondays are the best day to try and start a new habit … working out, eating right, meditating, writing … You are more likely to pursue your goals on Monday than any other day during the week. And there's a reason … According to a study published by the Association for Psychological Science, we're more motivated to go after our goals when we feel like past failures are … well, in our past! Researchers even have a name for this phenomenon — it's called "the fresh start effect." And get this … The study concludes that because you have so many opportunities to attempt a "fresh start," you have a better chance of succeeding, even if you fail numerous times throughout the year. So, let's take advantage of this fresh start, shall we? Today, copywriting expert and business coach Nick Usborne shares his final piece of advice for being successful. And while it's a bit of honest "tough love" that some might not want to hear … It's something that you have full control over. And makes success in building the writer's life accessible to everyone.
