Hi {NAME}, I have to share this update from AWAI success Nicole Piper with you… THIS is what becoming a Barefoot Writer is all about… the freedom and flexibility to live life where and however you choose to live it. It also proves how fast things can change for you… [We featured Nicole’s story here](. And yet below, she shares how much has already changed since! I love it so much. 🙂 Hoping the same for you, Katie Katie Yeakle Co-Founder and Executive Director AWAI --------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: Sharing my wins Hi Katie! OMG, I can’t wait to see you at Bootcamp!!! My first Bootcamp was in 2016. The connections I made there helped me launch my writing career. And it was the start of amazing friendships, too! One of my goals that year was to find some other writers to form an accountability group. Since then, I’ve been meeting every week with Candice Lazar, Patti Moyer, and Melanie Warren. We were all still fairly new to copywriting, and it’s been amazing to see how we’ve all grown since.   And we’re THRILLED to be meeting together IRL at Bootcamp! There’s such a buzz about you bringing this back live. Even Parris (yes, THAT Parris) was psyched when I told him!  And speaking of Paris (this time the city), let me tell you my win... I just got home from spending another month writing (and playing) in Paris. And there in my stack of mail I found THREE royalty checks! They more than covered the cost of the trip (including all the new clothes I bought 😉). I now have 3 royalty-earning controls!!! I’m living my dream of working when I want, where I want, and with whom I want. And I couldn’t be happier! Have a great weekend, Katie! The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
