Every writer should have one of these [The Writer’ s Life]( April 1, 2022 "Do your own thing on your own terms and get what you came here for." – Oliver James Hi {NAME}, Getting paid to write is an immense thrill. And what a sense of validation when a client says: "This is exactly what we were looking for. Let us pay you to do more." 🤩 Helping build your client's business with your words is a satisfying — and very lucrative — way to make a living. But you know what's even better?? 👉 Doing it for yourself. This week, we've been talking about how you can add thousands of dollars to your monthly income by creating your own Money-Making Website in your spare time. Now, if "creating a website" sounds like a big ordeal — it's really not … Assuming you know what you want to write about, the actual Money-Making Website is something you can set up in a matter of days. From there it's simply writing an article here and there. So, what should you write about? Let's look at some ideas in a second! But first, here's why I love this opportunity so much … - You don't need any clients to make money as a writer — and you keep ALL of the profits for yourself. - It's VERY part-time. You can do it in as little as three hours a week. Which makes it the perfect way to pad your paycheck. - It requires virtually no "technical" knowledge. It's about as basic as using Facebook. And best of all … - YOU choose the topic you'll write about. You will need to do a little research to make sure you pick something that draws an audience to your site. But if you choose something that you love … something you're truly enthusiastic to learn and write about … you will be successful. For example, master copywriter Nick Usborne has a Money-Making Website based on one of his true passions: Coffee. In his spare time, he writes light, fun coffee reviews … gift guides … how-to explainers … "best-of" coffee maker guides … and more. All told, he spends three hours a week on it, max. And get this — it pulls in around $50,000 every single year. All for writing about one of his favorite things on Earth! He's made over $500,000 with this one website … without a single client. So, how about you, {NAME}? If you could get paid to write about anything in the world … What would it be? And how do you pick something that you know other people are interested in … that's not already covered by a million other websites out there? Since I've got you thinking about it, let me start you down the right path. Here's a small excerpt from Nick Usborne, himself, in our [How to Write Money-Making Websites]( program: … if you write a website about "gardening," you will face massive competition from cable TV, glossy magazines, and some heavyweight online publishers. But if you write about "vegetable gardening in cold, northern climates," then you have a niche with a lot less competition, especially from big competitors. If you write about kayaks and canoes, you'll also face some heavyweight competition. You'd do better to write a site about "wood kayak kits." If you write about marketing strategies for business, good luck getting noticed. But if you write about "marketing strategies for roofing contractors" you're much more likely to make an impression. What are some things you know and love that you could narrow down into a smaller niche? Interestingly, you could also find clients within that niche who need writers and would gladly pay you to write about it. But in the meantime … If you start up your own Money-Making website on the topic, you'll always have a place to write about your favorite thing … And an amazing way to make spare-time income while you build up your client list (the website also serves as the ideal sample of your writing!). Or, you could simply clock in your three hours and call it a week! 😎 So spend some time brainstorming a list of things you'd enjoy writing about. I mean REALLY enjoy … Like "jump-out-of-bed-and-run-to-your-laptop-because-your-head-is-bursting-with-enthusiasm-and-ideas" enjoy. And if you'd like help, grab Nick's How to Write Money-Making Websites program. Along with helping you find your *perfect* topic, he'll help you properly set up your website to make money. [Details about the program are here]( — including an incentive program that will virtually pay YOU to put up a website. Whether you decide to stick to clients for now … or you take this chance to build a super spare-time side-income for yourself … I hope you'll continue to chase what you love. After all, that's why we're here. Writing is one of the most lucrative careers you can have. And if you do it right … one of the most fulfilling, too. Have a great weekend!
