WEEK IN REVIEW --------------------------------------------------------------- June 11 ? 15, 2018

[AWAI]( WEEK IN REVIEW --------------------------------------------------------------- June 11 – 15, 2018 Hi {NAME}, Exciting week here in the Delray Office … Christina Gillick and Mindy McHorse were two of the six writers we had inhouse working with us. Here's a picture of them with Rebecca … [Christina Gillick, Rebecca Matter, and Mindy McHorse in the AWAI office] As always happens whenever we get together with our writers, Bootcamp comes up. Here's a message for you from Mindy about why she comes back for the big event every year: "I go through peaks and valleys in my writing motivation all the time — but coming out to the AWAI offices (for the first time!) has reignited my goals and gotten me excited all over again to try new things and challenge myself. "But since arriving … I've picked up on little snippets of conversation here and there about what's happening at Bootcamp this October. And I kid you not — my mind is already blown at what AWAI has cooked up this year. I've already decided I need to arrive early and leave late to make the most of it — it's sure to be one of the most life-changing events I've been to yet — and I've been to a LOT of terrific events — so I CAN'T WAIT!!" I hope you'll join us all here in October too. WARNING: It's filling up very fast. I fully expect it to sell out quicker then ever this year. But, you can still get in. Writers Inspiring Writers "You just need to choose your passion, and then start writing … Whatever you love, you can make money writing about it." ~ Nick Usborne on having your own [Money-Making Website]( Writers Making Thousands by Living "Double Lives" Here at AWAI we're always looking for new opportunities for writers. Imagine having a side gig that pays $400, $1,000, $3,500 (or more) every month … writing about a topic you love! Writers all over the world are turning spare time writing into a highly-profitable passive income stream. We found out what topics they're writing about, how often they write, and how much they earn … [ … And it's all revealed in this investigative report.]( What AWAI Members Are Talking About … From a recent Facebook thread … How do you feel about "to-do" lists? "I LOVE it! I put every little thing on there simply to get the satisfaction of crossing stuff off." – Denise Michaels "I have my list on a 4x6 index card I change out daily." – Casey Demchak "I've been known to do things not on my To Do list, then add them just so I can cross them off." – Janice Owen "I use online scheduling too — but I just love holding/seeing the paper." – Rebecca Matter "I write the list in one color and check off in another because it's strangely satisfying. Love it!" – Jennifer Frazie Check out some other tips that your fellow copywriters have been sharing on the [AWAI Facebook Page](. What We're Excited About This Week And here's Christina on why she comes to Bootcamp every year … I'm so excited about this year's Bootcamp and am already counting down the days! It's always my favorite event of the year because attending grows my writing abilities and income, helps me develop deeper friendships with other writers in the industry, and increases my confidence so I can write more effective copy. I can't wait to meet new aspiring (and inspiring) writers, catch up with all my favorite copywriters and marketers in one place, and learn new tips and tricks to become a better writer (and make more money). Working at home can sometimes feel lonely, but with Bootcamp, I have the opportunity to be a part of a team, renew friendships, and make new connections. Only 123 more days! Copywriters, Did You Know … 72% of B2B buyers and researchers watch videos to help them make their buying decisions. And they're not just watching short clips, either. Google Research shows that almost half of them watch a minimum of 30 minutes. A study from VidYard also shows that 37% of B2B sales teams now use video throughout their sales cycle. The rising use of video means B2B companies will increasingly need video scripts written. This is another reason why the business-to-business industry remains a potential goldmine for copywriters who enjoy getting more projects from fewer clients, and who prefer to write more straightforward and less emotional copy.
