Try this for productivity and balance May 6, 2024 [The Writer’ s Life]( "Some people dream of success, while other people get up every morning and make it happen." — Wayne Huizenga Good Monday morning, {NAME}, Katie here, and I'm very excited to be with you this week. I'm going to share with you some of the most effective success practices I've seen during my 27 years of working with AWAI writers. And, yes, I said "practices." Not strategies … not hacks … not theories that just "sound good." What we'll be talking about these next five days are actions I hope you'll start incorporating into your life … just like the most successful writers I know have. These practices are all about maximizing your potential each and every day. That's a tall order … but I've seen firsthand the results in my life and the lives of many others. (That's why I'm so excited to share them with you!) They're about developing strong habits that will make you a better thinker, a stronger writer, and just all-around more confident in all your dealings. I'm calling on two of my favorite people to get us started — Ted Capshaw and Jade Trueblood. In today's Monday Morning Jumpstart, Ted and Jade ask the important question … "How do you start your morning?" … and give us great insights into why those early minutes and hours of our days are so crucial to setting the rhythm, tone, and pace for the whole day. I particularly love the practice of asking ourselves — What commitments are we going to make to ourselves today? and What boundaries are we going to set today? [Ted and Jade share more morning practices]( that will help you stay on track to reach your goals for the days, weeks, and months ahead. But before you head over, you need to be reading Barefoot Writer magazine and learning from all the successful writers who have come before you. You'll discover how writing can give you the freedom you want, while earning a great income at the same time.
