Here's what's up in the world of TV. Here's what's up in the world of TV. Here’s what’s happening in the world of television for Sunday, August 19. All times are Eastern. Top pick The Last Sharknado: It’s About Time: (Syfy, 8 p.m.): The Sharknado series has featured everything from sharks, tornadoes, surprisingly effective chainsaws, Bret Michaels, and Charo as a queen. But you know what it’s been missing this whole time? Time travel. So the subtitle of the “last” Sharknado installment has two meanings here, as Syfy helpfully explains: “Our hero Fin (Ian Ziering) has battled sharks all over the globe, but in this last installment he will tackle the final shark-tier—time travel. In the ending moments of Sharknado 5: Global Swarming, Fin was seen wandering alone on Earth after it was destroyed. Now he must travel back in time to stop the Sharknado that started it all. Will Fin and the gang be able to set everything right and save the world once and for all?” We’re gonna say… probably? [Les Chappell]( is strapping on his Sharknado gear once again (knee pads, flame thrower, laptop) to document what is most definitely the final Sharknado chapter for us all. Regular coverage [The Affair]( (Showtime, 9 p.m.): fourth-season finale [Sharp Objects]( (HBO, 9 p.m.) [Who Is America?]( (Showtime, 10 p.m.) [Preacher]( (AMC, 10 p.m.) [Insecure]( (HBO, 10:30 p.m.) Wild card Ordeal By Innocence (Amazon Prime): Amazon has scooped up this Agatha Christie-penned BBC miniseries featuring a complicated (to put it mildly) mid-century aristocratic English family. When the mother of the Argyll clan (Anna Chancellor) is murdered, one of her adopted sons is convicted. Eighteen months later, as Argyll patriarch and widower Bill Nighy prepares to marry his secretary, an alibi for the convicted killer appears, throwing everyone into suspicion once again. Of course, it wouldn’t a proper U.K.-themed series without Matthew Goode in it, which is just all the more reason to check out this three-part series.
