These Hoodlums make me want a hot dog real bad! 🔥 [View this email in your browser]( He’s mean, cruel, and sexy as hell. My nemesis is impossible to ignore… and a secret part of me doesn’t want to. 🥵 July's book spotlight is here! Make sure you read to the bottom for a super cool announcement about this series! This newsletter is full of goodies for you to check out! Enjoy! “This book is so captivating, I'm almost speechless. It's full of raw, angsty, emotional goodness that draws you in from page one. I frantically read page after page, needing to know where the story would go, but also obsessively checking my % read because I didn't want it to end." Michelle, Reviewer Hood River Rat is such a special book to me! It started as just a short anthology piece for the Bully Me anthology, but as soon as I started with these characters, I knew it would be SO much more. What was supposed to be 20k words turned into a full sized book...and then an entire series! My heart will forever be with these Hoodlums. 😍 Here's the blurb for Hood River Rat: From USA Today bestselling author K Webster comes a MM high school bully romance called Hood River Rat! Hood River was supposed to be the change I needed. A fresh start. An escape from my painful past. Better in every way. I’m a popular guy. Approachable. I make friends easily. Cool car. Nice clothes. Good attitude. Everything will be fine. School is school. I’ll keep my head down until graduation and try not to stick out. College will be here before I know it. Yet my first day proves to be anything but easy. The Hood River Hoodlums—our school’s most notorious group of bad boys—have put a target on my back. Their leader, Roan, hates me. He calls me Rat. To him and his friends, I’m a loser who doesn’t belong at their school. I could pretend I don’t care about their hate. If only Roan wasn’t so hot. He’s mean, cruel, and sexy as hell. My nemesis is impossible to ignore…and a secret part of me doesn’t want to. Here I thought being gay was the worst of my problems. Turns out, being gay and crushing on your enemy takes the cake. This is a full-length high school enemies-to-lovers and new adult romance with high angst, suspense, and gutting emotion. It's book one in the Hood River Hoodlum series that will have interlinking storylines. Hood River Rat can be read as a standalone and starts off a four-book series that gives each Hoodlum a book. This is the only MM story. The others are MF. "Omg. K Webster has blown me away with Hollis and Roan's story. This is one of my favorite MM books ever. It was filled with tension and suspense and secrets and SO MUCH HEAT!" Katy, Reviewer [Amazon]( [Barnes and Noble]( [Apple]( [Kobo]( [Google Play]( [Eden Books]( Also on... [Amazon UK]( [Amazon DE]( [Amazon FR]( [Amazon ES]( [Amazon IT]( [Amazon NL]( [Amazon JP]( [Amazon BR]( [Amazon CA]( [Amazon MX]( [Amazon AU]( and [Amazon IN](. “I have never wanted two main characters who hated each other, to hook up as badly as I did Hollis and Roan! This story was a slow burn that was worth every agonizing minute!” Rotella Reads, Reviewer "I am all about some delicious M/M, and Hood River Rat tickled my fancy in every single way. Enemies to lovers/frenemies to lovers fans, THIS is the book to read. GAH! Y'all this book was EVERYTHING." Wendy, Reviewer Each Hoodlum has their own book! Here they are: [Hood River Rat - Roan's Book]( [Little Hoodlum - Jordy's Book]( [Campfire Chaos - Cal's Book]( [Hood River Zero - Terrence's Book]( (Terrence also has a free prequel called [Hoodlum Heat]( that takes place before Hood River Rat!) Here's an excerpt of Hood River Rat: His lips press together to form a thin line as his copper eyes study me. I take note that his skin turns slightly pink. Beneath all the asshole exterior is a vulnerable boy curious about the one in front of him. It gives me hope. If I can crack him, maybe he’ll let me in. Why do I want to be let in? Because he’s different. I’m drawn to him. He’s fucking hot. So hot it hurts a little to look at him sometimes. I want his smiles directed my way. I’ve never wanted a guy in my entire life as much as I want Roan. “I know you’re not gay,” I tell him boldly. “You don’t know shit.” My brow lifts. “Sidney said you two…er, dated.” “We fucked,” he says bluntly. “Plenty of times. She’s not my type, though.” “What is your type?” “Not her.” “Are you bi?” “I’m nothing.” His words, spoken softly and with such pain, cut into me. Not a gory slash. The kind that dives deep, slicing through every internal organ along the way. With every pulse of my heart, I bleed for him. “You’re not nothing.” I step closer and lift my chin to look at him. We’re inches apart. Any other guy and I would’ve already made my move. I feel the heat that burns hot between us, but he’s too brittle. I have an urge to protect him. Even from me. He leans in, bringing his mouth close to my ear, brushing it barely. “Careful, rat, I might think you care.” His awful nickname for me doesn’t feel awful at all. It’s a breathy caress. An endearment. “Have you ever kissed a guy?” My words tumble from my lips in a whisper. “No.” Then, in a way meant to hurt me, he says, “Don’t plan on it either.” I’m not scared away, though. If anything, it makes me want to taunt him further. Make him face what he feels deep inside, because clearly it’s not far off from how I feel. We may hate each other, but our bodies sure as hell haven’t gotten the memo. “I kissed girls before,” I reveal, my voice low. I bring two fingers to his lips and ghost them over his flesh. “Too soft.” His amber eyes flare like a ball of flames, but he doesn’t move away. Simply pins me in place with his hot glare. “But guys,” I murmur. “Guys have just enough roughness. Scruff. Edge.” I lift my gaze from his mouth. “Meanness. They aren’t sweet like girls.” “I’m not kissing you, rat,” he says in a husky tone. “No matter how much you try to seduce me.” A grin tugs at my lips. His bronze orbs fall to my mouth, catching a glimpse of it and lingering. “Pity because I’ve been told I’m a great kisser.” “By Lucas?” The name has me jolting in pain, but the look on Roan’s face erases it. Barely masked jealousy. I’m not sure why this thrills me, but it does. “And others.” “Girls or guys?” “Both.” My thumb brushes his bottom lip this time, pulling the soft flesh to the side. His facial scruff scratches against my palm. It’s exhilarating touching him. I’m liking “neutral ground.” His hand reaches up, gripping my wrist hard. He doesn’t pull me away, though. “Did you fuck all those people?” “Just Lucas.” Satisfaction glimmers over his features. I want to dissect his mind. Ask him a thousand questions. Figure out every part of him that makes him tick. His lips part, and without hesitation, I press my thumb inside. The heat of his mouth sends pleasure tingling right to my dick. I’m hard and aching with need. He bites down on the tip of my thumb. Not painfully. Just a statement. That he has me. I don’t think he even realizes he stakes such a claim. "Such an amazing and emotional story. I devoured it in one day." Nolagirl29, Reviewer Currently, this book isn't on audiobook, but I do have it in the plans to get started on next!
