I'm a god. 🎶 A rock god that is... [View this email in your browser]( I'm a god. A rock god that is.... It's time for March's book spotlight! Yay! I thought I'd take it back REAL old school to one of my first books published eight years ago! I worked on some new covers and blurbs this month and I think you're going to love them! Check out all the fun stuff in this spotlight newsletter! Who loves a hot, emotional rockstar romance series? Fun fact: I married a guitar player. To this day, I fall victim to his swoony music he plays. It's probably why I let the hubs buy so many guitars. I'm a sucker for a sexy musician! Even though my Vegas Aces series was one of my first series to write, it'll always hold a special place in my heart. For some reason, until recently, I assumed people didn't want to know about my old books. But, after some guidance of some author friends, I learned that maybe you do...I just have to tell you! Rock Country kicks off the series. It's a best friend to lovers trope. The hero has to leave his childhood friend (who would have turned into more if time would have allowed) and eventually goes on to become the guitarist of a rock band. When a situation forces him to go back home for a visit, he sees June and she's all grown up. Sparks fly and hearts get tangled. Things get complicated because he can't stay there. Here's the new blurb: I’m a god. A rock god that is. I have everything I could ever want. Money. Friends. Fame. More women than I know what to do with. But I don’t have her. I left my childhood best friend, June, and went on to pursue my dreams of making it big. And, though life has been good, I still miss and think about her all the time. Fate sees to it that I visit my old small town and get the chance to finally reconnect with her. June’s no longer the girl I remember. She’s all grown up and more beautiful than I could have imagined. But the light in her eyes is gone and the man she’s with is cruel to her. June deserves more than that douchebag. She deserves someone who can give her a happily ever after. Stupidly, I think that someone could be me. Our chemistry is off-the-charts. I’m falling hard for this girl and can’t seem to get enough of her. This journey from friends to lovers is what people like me write songs about. Hot. Intense. Soul fulfilling. Perfect in every way. I can’t stay and be the man she needs, though. My future is the band, the record label, and my loyal fans. I’m going to have to choose between the two things I care about most in this world—my life’s passion and the one I love. And I’m not sure I can make that choice without breaking my heart in two… Rock Country is FREE on ebook everywhere, so if you haven't read it, you should totally check it out! This was before I turned into the daring, dark K Webster I'm known for being today. Have fun reading my sweeter, more innocent side lol. "Wow, I shouldn't be surprised how good this story was considering the author. Filled with ups and downs, heartbreak, tragedy, and a never-ending love that started in childhood. To read about a rock star so down to earth and broken by a lie, and his climb to get himself together was truly amazing to read." "I completely fell in love from the very beginning. The story was compelling. I read the whole thing in one sitting. The characters, Bobby and June, were just perfect. I love second chance romance stories." Liz, Reviewer Check out this cover! I thought it'd be fun to update the series and put them into one thick book called Vegas Rock Star Love. The blue on this is striking. I love it! I don't have this paperback in person yet, but it's on the way. They're available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble (for the paperbacks), but the signed paperbacks will be on my site soon as well for those who collect all my books. [Amazon]( [Apple]( [Barnes & Noble]( [Kobo]( [Google Play]( [Eden Books]( Like my hoodie? I don't have these up for sale anymore, but I totally should update them and get them back up there! Here's an excerpt of Rock Country: I couldn’t help myself when I kissed her perfect lips. The slap that followed was totally worth it. She was a damn goddess. No way could I have ever dreamed that sweet, pigtailed June could grow up to be this beautiful woman. When I first laid eyes on her, I’d thought she was hotter than any of the plastic women I was used to seeing these days in Vegas. Her blond hair blew wildly in the wind, and I wanted nothing more than to drag my fingers through it. Obnoxious sunglasses covered her face, barely held up by her pert nose. Her plump lips glistened and were begging to be sucked on. The tight tank top did nothing to hide her full, natural breasts, and the short cut-offs revealed tan, smooth legs. The cowboy boots were sexy as hell, and I wanted them digging into my back. She was fucking hot, and I wasn’t about to let her get away from me that easily. Once again, I brought my body close to hers, but this time I refrained from touching her. Needing to see her eyes, I quickly reached up and pulled the sunglasses from her face. What I saw shocked me and I immediately boiled with anger. “Who fucking did this to you?” I demanded as I studied her blackened eyes. There was no way in hell whoever did this to her would go unpunished. I was going to throttle him. “My husband.” As if cold water had been splashed on me, I took a step back from her. My sweet June was married to an abusive, backwoods asshole. “You tell your husband if he ever touches you again, I’ll kill him." As you can see, I updated the covers. It was much-needed, but I'll always feel nostalgic when I see the originals (pictured below). Of course, for the collectors, I'll continue to keep the originals on my website, along with the new covers. That way, you have the option to get either one depending on your preference. I also changed the size to 5x8 from 6x9 on these because I like the feel of the smaller size. I hope you enjoyed this spotlight of Rock Country and Vegas Rock Star Love. Thanks for reading my books, even the really old ones! The picture below is the original for the box set. It'll always be special to me because it's my husband and one of his guitars. ;) Can't wait for next month to showcase another book of mine! Also, be watching later this month for my new release newsletter for Death Wish (as well as some personal updates). Rock on!
