Here are some of the biggest winners of 2022 and what you can learn from them. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ Yep, it's December 30th and I'm writing a newsletter. In case you were still doubting of my nerdiness, well here you are. I might not put the dancefloor on fire tomorrow night but give an Ahrefs account and I'll get that party started.  And to start the last (email) party of the year, going I wanted to answer a common worry newer followers of ours have: Can I still start a successful site in 2023? Do I even stand a chance? But in typical newsletter fashion, I'm not going to bore you to death with cheesy (hum, I love cheese..) rhetoric. I want to SHOW you sites that started roughly a year or two ago and how they're doing now despite all the current Google Spam, Product reviews & Helpful Content. 1. Pestsamurai .com It's a site that focuses on information about PEST and how to get rid of them. While this site was put live towards the end of 2019, it didn't start receiving any traffic until March 2020. And today it's sitting at... 175,787 monthly visits  They run a mix of Mediavine ads and affiliate content to monetize their content and if I run quick napkin maths, I'd guess they make $13,000+ per month just from ads. Then you have to add the amazon commissions they make from recommending products on their best pages And finally, the money they make recommending PEST removal services which could be quite lucrative depending on their conversion rates and negotiated affiliate rates. This is a solid example of a solid site in a problem niche that's not necessarily very sexy but probably very lucrative to its owner. 2. Peppers Home and Garden (.com) But I understand not all of you want to spend your days creating content talking about PEST. So how about a more fun example? Let me introduce you to Peppershomeandgarden.com. That site was started in the middle of 2020 and now sites at 172k+ monthly traffic according to Ahrefs.  The site is primarily monetized with Adthrive ads that probably make the owner $30-40 per thousand visitors. So if we estimate that they get maybe 220k visitors, that's maybe $8,000 - $10,000 per month from ads. On top of that, I like that they're doing one of the things I guessed would be trending next year: selling affiliate products inside info articles. All in all, I wouldn't be surprised if that 2.5-year-old site was making $13,000 - $15,000 per month of revenue. Not bad 👍 3. The Grilling Dad (.com) While this site was put live in early 2021, it didn't start receiving any traffic until June of that year. And today it's sitting at... 368k organic traffic. Not bad for a hobbyist site blogging about what you're doing in your garden all summer. Just in ad revenue, if I look at our own sites in similar niches, that site can probably get around $19,000 per month using Adthrive or Mediavine. On top of that, they also rank for juicy affiliate keywords. For example, they're #2 for "best pellet grill", a 9400 searches per month high buying intent keyword. And when the top product recommendation costs $1,449 those are juicy commissions. So I wouldn't be surprised to see that site pull a healthy mid-5-figure amount per month just 2.5 years after being started. What does this all mean? Look, there's no denying that there is more competition today than there ever was in this market. Still, the 3 examples I shared with you today show that it's STILL very realistic to build a site from scratch and have it earn job replacement income within 1 - 2 years. You just need to be a little smarter with your decisions than you needed to be before. And because I know many of you are looking to make that leap with the new year, I have some exciting news for you. I just finished filming a NEW update to our flagship training, The Authority Site System, a few days ago, and it should be ready in about 2 days. I'll let you know more when it's done editing but needless to say. We have something huge coming your way on January 1st. So watch out for my email, and for now, rest a bit before you get pissed tomorrow night 🍾. On behalf of the Authority Hacker team, I want to thank you for sticking with us this year and wish you a happy new year! I'll see you after your hangover 😅 Gael Breton Co-Founder of Authority Hacker Sent to: {EMAIL} [Unsubscribe]( Authority Hacker, 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU, United Kingdom
