We see a short-term buy signal and will hedge up the longer term trade that we will keep open. Monday’s buy signal generated late in the day has followed through to new highs. The ES hit 4712 which is within our resistance zone of 4705-4720. This big mover is NVDA which is currently trading around 321 this morning. We took around a $505 profit on the covered call we had and then sold another covered call for around 5.75 yesterday, which means we have close to 11 dollars of premium now, plus we still have put protection. We’ll continue to work NVDA as it goes up and down. We still have the MARA put spread out to January and MARA is holding up. Take a look at page 140 out of the 2021 Stock Trader’s Almanac. This shows the typical week on a half-hour basis going back to 1987. This electronic behemoth otherwise looks primed to make new 52-week highs after modest pullback. First target $130. Stop $117.89. [image] Kind words from our best students: "Back on April 9th, I bought 1 ORCL Jan 22 95 call at $1.33. Today it is trading at $3.78. That's 180%! In May I also did a put spread on ORCL for 78%. These two trades have been my best trades of the year! Thanks, Tom!" — Robert R., a premium subscriber to Tom Busby Starting at 1PM Eastern — Don't Miss It!
