How the pros find the best trade set-ups [image] November 25, 2021: Scanning the market for trades: How the pros find the best trade set-ups Hope your turkey is great tonight — but tomorrow morning, the markets will have [a story to tell while America has a shopping spree](. People ask me all the time, how do you find trades? After I decide on a trend based on what I see, I scan the market for stocks and ETFs prime to move in an anticipated direction. In other words, I’m looking to time the market. Oh, gee, I sure hope my college professor isn’t reading this. Scanning for the type of trade set-ups I’m talking about can take a lot of work. Here are a few tricks that save me time: 1) Scan for stocks at least 2% above their month open to go long, or at least 2% below their month open to go short. That’s how I found Zillow (Z). [image]( Zillow is about ready to turn around, so I don’t recommend going short here. That’s a story for another day. 2) Scan for stocks that are above their month open, week open and day open. That’s how I found CF Industries (CF). I think it has more upside after a pull back. [image]( 3) Scan for stocks that have a seasonal bias upward or downward in direction, depending on what you’re looking for. That’s how I found Archer Daniels-Midland (ADM), which I think has a lot more upside. [image]( While I might look like a genius based on these trades, the truth is [I just have the right tools](. You can see firsthand the tools I use when you join our Green Friday live trading event with Tom Busby tomorrow beginning at 8:30 a.m. ET. After all, he’s the one who showed me how. And tomorrow [he’ll be trading with these tools LIVE in his own account!]( The cash market opens Friday 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET — but [join us at 8:30am ET]( so Tom and I can give you the lowdown before the markets open. And [wait till you see the scan he’s unveiling next](! Experience first hand tomorrow! Sincerely, Celeste Lindman Ask The Pros RISK DISCLAIMER There is a very high degree of risk involved in trading.
