Plus, Chuck's Trade of the Day is back! [image] [image] [image]( Why sectors remain fragmented. … Is volatility set to rise or fall? … The put to call ratio is telling us THIS … The index with a flood of inflow … What is China's economy telling us? … And what it means for the US. [Click to get it all right now!]( [image] [image] For today’s Trade of the Day, we will be looking at a daily price chart with the 50-Day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) and 100-Day EMA for Tradeweb Markets Inc. (TW). The 50-Day and 100-Day EMA are moving average indicator lines that can provide buy and sell signals when used together. When the 50-Day EMA (blue line) crosses above the 100-Day EMA (red line) this indicates that the stock’s buying pressure has begun to outweigh the selling pressure signaling a ‘buy’ signal. When the 50-Day EMA crosses below the 100-Day EMA this indicates that the selling pressure has begun to outweigh the buying pressure signaling a ‘sell’ signal. As the chart shows, on April 6th, 2020, the TW 50-Day EMA, crossed above the 100-Day EMA. For this kind of crossover to occur, a stock has to be in a strong bullish trend. As you can see, the 50-Day EMA is still above the 100-Day EMA meaning the ‘buy’ signal is still in play. Our initial price target for TW stock is 100.00 per share. [image] My pivot number is 4655 today on the ES (S&P 500 futures). The market had an inside day yesterday, and because of that I think we’d have to get above 4680 to tell me it’s going higher, or break below 4625 to tell me it’s going lower. If you look at some of the stocks out there that are still under pressure, I think this is a wait and watch type of market. I am seeing some weakness in SHAK this morning. [image] [image] Freeport-Mcmoran (FCX) is showing strength along with other metals. With a $36.19 stop, FCX looks ready to revisit $46 within the next two months. From there I’m looking for new 52 week highs. [image] Kind words from our best students: "I made my cost of subscription plus $500 in my first week.
